I don't know about you guys but at this point I trust PG with the ball in his hans more than Danny

Be careful what you say on here about Danny (people apparently kill for him)... But I agree. At least while he's playing with this much confidence.

What are you doing Hibbert!? You are 7' 2" ! Dunk it!

Had he not celebrated his block (which was nice, but still) like he blocked a potential game seven winner, he would have been down the court in time to get a dunk.

It's not funny. It's also not good. He gets way too high, and way too low.

If he is ever going to be the kind of player he wants to be, he needs to be a lot more level-headed.

AJ Price really hasn't been great since he rejoined the rotation.

He's been better than Ford anyway. But first of all, AJ's not going to do anything exciting, so he probably won't "impress" people.

Second, he never got the opportunity to mentally get over his injury.

And Third, he's rejoining the team in the middle of the season, so he's in "begining of the season" form. Just because he did it well last year, it doesn't mean it's easy to do. We talk about what Roy went through with JOB. Well compared to Price, Roy's circumstance was a cake walk.

He hasn't played as good as he did last year, but I think he's gotten better pretty much each game. He just needs to get more comfortable on the knee, and get himself adjusted and comfortable. And even all that said, he hasn't been bad. Just hasn't been really good either.

As for Collison vs Price, once again..lets let AJ actually get a full season's worth of playing time. One of the two has gotten a lot more time to adjust to learn the NBA game than the other...

Blake Griffen had that same injury bounced back fast. I thought he tore his acl? not a broken knee cap

He did that too a few years ago. Blake Griffin got a full year of recovery and doesn't have a history of knee problems, Price got himself back to playing in four months..And as I said, I think it's more the fact that he didn't do anything to the knee to have it break. It just broke. That's the mental part (similar to an ACL)

I thought Price would play better, because he had played so well in the preseason and the few times he got to play before. But that's not realistic. We changed the offense, he went on a mental rollar coaster with JOB, it's midseason, and he's coming back from an injury. Of course he's not going to look fantastic. So he's having a hard time making his three and turning the ball over a few more times than normal, that'll change. I've seen this with Price before. And even still, he's been a pretty good backup point guard.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blake_Griffin

In their final preseason game, he injured his kneecap as he landed after a dunk.[56] The day before the 2009–10 season started it was confirmed that Griffin had a stress fracture in his left knee, delaying his NBA debut for seven weeks.[56] After resting the stress fracture for several weeks, tests revealed that his knee was not recovering properly.[57] Griffin had surgery on his broken left kneecap and it was reported that he would miss the rest of the season

which is actually more difficult to come back from because the ACL effects lateral movement

Actually the ACL effects the sliding movement of the fibula, so it being torn affects front/back stability. The collateral ligaments are what effects lateral movement, although freak lateral hits can tear ACL, PCL and collaterals at the same time.
The patellar tendon is a whole other story, and it's actually tougher to recover from than any other.

For the record, I wasn't criticizing AJ, just making an observation. I'm sure he's got some rust, and I'm willing to let him play through it.

We went from running a motion offense to simply just running whatever the heck AJ wants. It's Price completely deciding what to do, every time. Which, tends to mean a lot of PnRs (at least this game he's switched from playing them with Foster primarily to playing them with Tyler primarily.)

We do that, I think, because the second unit consists of Paul George, AJ, Hans and Foster. Not exactly the type of guys you run a motion offense with. Funny enough, we run the motion offense more with DC in than with Price. (But once again, that's because Dun, Roy and Josh are starting)

Once again, he'll get used to it..but it's new..
