As I said before, the Bucks are the best offense in the east by a good margin. They have scorers, outside shooters, passers, and speed at every position. When they catch fire, they can beat anyone.

However, this is a very, very poor defensive team, especially on the perimeter, whihc keeps holding them back. You can't just outscore teams in May and June.

This team should be a playoff team again, they haven't changed much. If TJ Ford returns healthy, thats an added bonus.

The teams in bold are playoff teams:

Detroit Pistons- 62-20
Indiana Pacers- 55-27
Milwaukee Bucks- 45-37
Cleveland Cavaliers- 42-40
Chicago Bulls- 34-48

I'm pretty confident that Ford will be hurt all season. So I say they are a playoff team. So contender I guess.

Indiana Pacers - 62-20***
Detroit Pistons - 60-22***
Cleveland Cavaliers - 48-34
Milwaukee Bucks - 42-40
Chicago Bulls - 33-49

***16-18 easy wins in the Atlantic alone, not to mention the 4 from the Bobcats

Thanks Anthem, I haven't slept well for a couple of nights.

D4G, what happened to the 60-20 Pistons? Did they take a draw for two of their games?

That sucks about Charles Rogers Kstat, I was looking forward to watching him play this year.

Ford's still out which hurts them. With KVH, Mason & Redd they can score but they won't be much better than last year IMO.

Pretender, but probably a playoff team in the EC.

I had them as the 4th best team in the East, with Ford.

Doesn't look like he's gonna play much, if at all this season.

They're a playoff team but without TJ they won't advance.

Pretender. They fell apart at then end of last year. Redd is a solid player to build a team around, and they have some decent role players, but get rid of KVH!!!

Perhaps if Ford returns soon, they could do better than I predict...

Indiana Pacers - 61-21
Detroit Pistons - 60-22
Cleveland Cavaliers - 42-40
Chicago Bulls - 41-41
Milwaukee Bucks- 39-43

They won't be as strong as last year, might not even make the playoffs. They're a far better team with Ford running the point.

Pacers: 60 - 22
Pistons: 54 - 28
Cavaliers: 44- 38
Bucks: 40 - 42
Bulls: 34 - 48
