With Rush's injury and us being forced to go even smaller than normal tonight, might Lance Stephenson actually see some minutes on the court? Or will he end up in the other court before we ever see him play?

I hope I'm wrong but I voted criminal court. I think he would have seen some NBA court action by now but hopefully with Rush out and Tyler out he could see a few minutes.

Why would this get locked? It's not like it's a disrespectful topic or anything. It's a legitimate question. Will we see him get playing time before he gets his date in court?

It wouldn't suprise me if the Pacers want to see him be found innocent before playing him.

You don't want fans to boo him unnecessarily, or you don't want him to play really well and get a lot of press..then find out he can't play because of what he did in August.

Agreed, I really think he would have played some garbage minutes by now but it seems they are going to the judicial system decide his fate with the Pacers.

He will see criminal court soon enough...and it's not worth playing him before a disposition is handed down.

Jim doesnt seem to like him and I doubt there is any pressure to play Lance

but I think it will be unfortunate if he doesnt play at all this year

Lol it would be ironic if he played tonight.. :)

That said, he'll reach his court date before seeing court time.

Anyone know his trial date? I thought it was in February.

lightning rod topic

I think our mods/admin do a fair enough job of just deleting posts that are out of line, before actually locking a thread. As long as people just answer the question asked there shouldn't be any reason for this to be locked.

It's a borderline topic...although it can depend on the mod and their mood.

Sometimes I think they let it ride to see if people can restrain themselves. Other times the thread simply needs shut down ASAP.

Unless we suffer some Colts type of injuries, Lance will not be playing.

If he couldn't even dress tonight, I'm not thinking he'll ever play.

I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to playing on an NBA court. There have been recent situations where Stephenson could have played and was inactive.

Unless we have an injury or two at point guard, I don't see Stephenson playing anytime soon.

I believe his court date is scheduled for Feb. 25th b/c I know it's after the all-star break

Last night showed, that on the depth chart..not only is Stephenson the fourth PG, but he's also about the seventh SG...behind PG, Dun, Rush, AJ, TJ, and Dahntay.

The only way I can see, seeing him is if we trade TJ and one of DC or AJ gets hurt.

I agree with Sookie. Last night made it very obvious that we won't be seeing him until after the trial.

No way Lance sits out an entire 82.
