Stein Ranked us where I think we realistically are right now while Hollinger has us 5 spots higher.

Something tells me Pacer People, undoubtedly weary of hearing about those long-ago wins over the Heat and Lakers, got pretty giddy when they read about Larry Legend possibly hiring Kevin Pritchard for his front office (http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/24117/discord-in-indianatrade-chatter).

Hollinger's rankings

Stein has us ranked at #24 while Hollinger has us ranked at #19 ahead of the Suns, Bobcats, and Clippers.

Seems redunant.

Throw in the recent narrow L to Orlando, and you get one the finest 3-2 stretches in the nine-season existence of this committee.</td></tr></tbody></table>

At least one thing we know for sure, and that's our status as bottom feeders the past few years.

Let us sing a Scottish lament for those dead and buried days of wide, doe eyes innocence and optimism before this season was brutally sexually assaulted and murdered...

Lay me down in the cold cold ground
Where before many more have gone
Lay me down in the cold cold ground
Where before many more have gone

When they come I will stand my ground
Stand my ground I'll not be afraid

Thoughts of home take away my fear
Sweat and blood hide my veil of tears

Once a year say a prayer for me
Close your eyes and remember me

Never more shall I see the sun
For I fell to a Germans gun

Lay me down in the cold cold ground
Where before many more have gone
Lay me down in the cold cold ground
Where before many more have gone

Where before many more have gone

Shame on you Mike Wells, Indy star, ESPN, SI.COM and Yahoo.com for making us one of the worst teams in the NBA, thanks for this misery .................................................

Surprised there are 6 worse teams. Minnesota, Sacramento, yeah no-brainer. New Jersey, Detroit? Not so sure any more..

johnhollinger LaMarcus Aldridge wins Western Conference Player of the Week. I would have voted for the Indiana Pacers.
