According to the ConsecoFieldhouse.com item description they were screened on...

#31 Reggie Miller Retro Authentic Jersey by Mitchell & Ness. Retro jersey of the 1987-88 season. Numbers and letters are screen printed on just like the jerseys of that year.

Well then buying that jersey is just like paying $200
for a replica jersey.

Perhaps it was screened, but I think the stripe was stitched in.

I always thought those uniforms looked "cheap", so I wouldn't be surprised if the entire thing was screened.

All right guys, I talked to some people both online and in person (keep in mind I want to one day open my own shoe business and manufacter athletic shoes and apparel) and this seems to be the word.

they are screen printed, hence they wanted to keep them authentic. They are Mitchell and Ness, so they dont even compare to the old school rbk replicas. These numbers dont fade (I even talked to a guy who had a MJ and P.Ewing jersey some 15 years old, and it was in great condition (I offered up my opinion, if would look better burned)) but anyways, they are good jerseys.

Also, as with any "good" jersey, NEVER put it in the washer and dryer. Pay the extra couple of dollars adn get it dry cleaned

With that said, they are still $300 +

I figured since I threw my .02 I would get some clarification from some people who know about this type of ish.

[quote=rscarey]Thanks so much VA for your help.

That does it...I guess I'm getting mine for sure. I have saved up for this jersey about a year now...so the hard work pays off. I'm hoping to one day get it signed so I can frame it...only in my dreams

no problem. I have a CC now (yay for college cards) so I may get it in a few weeks.

All I ask in return is that when I start my company you by my jersey, which will be overpriced at some where between $800 - $1000:p

on a serious note, if you want to get any jersey signed, it is possible. Here in DC, I went to a Wizards game, and there was this guy from Indy who lived in like NC and came up for the game. He had a JO jersey on, and walked up to JO when he came out of the tunnell for warmups, and got the jersey signed. The guy called his parents and all his siblings and told them about it. He was really excited. and he was in his late 20's, lol

gotta love die hard Pacers fans. [/quote/] Cool
