What do you all think about this? June has sturggled a bit and Pope and Gardner are injured. Mathis has the size and athleticism to make this move. If this works out and Sanders doesnt sign then do you think June might be moved back to safety as a backup? He would definatley give size in the secondary which is desperately needed. What do you all think about this?

I think LB is a good spot. He's a big, tough guy; I think he should/would flourish if he gets the playing time...

What do you think about June at safety?

I'm thinking he may be too slow (June that is)...Although my memory isn't as good as it once was; it's been a long time since I've seen Cato.

I say he has about the same speed as Anthony Floyd. He has more size and is a better tackler than Floyd and I think he can play as a back up. But Anthony Floyd is considered slow.

I think he could play as a back up safety. I think he could be a playmaker at the safety position because he was known for his hard hitting back in his safety days. But he would also get burnt on Some plays by faster wide receivers. I would have to seen him play first, and maybe he might come through at WILL.
