Fomer Sonics guard Quintin Daily has died of heart disease in Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. He was 49.

Dailey, a 6-foot-3 guard, played from 1989-91 with the Sonics, the last stop in a 10-year NBA career that also included time with the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Clippers.

His best season in Seattle was his first, when he averaged 8.2 points in 30 games. He was cut by the team midway through the 1991-92 season.

Former USF coach Dan Belluomini told The Associated Press Dailey was a tremendous player and terrific worker.

Ordering and eating that hot-dog when sitting on the bench? He also had to deal with other issues, more serious ones, but fortunately it seems he grew up out of them after leaving the league.
