9 of 20. Horrid. LMAO.
No wonder people utilize "Hack-a-Shaq"

And Shaq doesn't get enough foul calls. :unimpressed:
In that game they only foul out Ilgauskas, Diop, and Mcinnis, and Wagner had 5 fouls, while Shaq had 2 fouls. Shaq better stfu before he looks even dumber than he already is.

Diop does have a tendency to foul. Z is okay (cause defense is second language).
Is this the first game Cleveland has lost since getting McInnis?

Sounds like us against the Knicks!
I watched the game and honestly, while he is naturally physical towards opposing players he does get hacked quite a bit out there. I saw no bad reffing in that game at all.

The reffing was quite good.
Shaq is just a horrid shooter.
He needs to capitalize at the line if he wants to make his case about getting hacked stronger.
Until then, I say, screw it.
If you can't hit free throws, you suck.

9 of 20 is bad, but not bad enough to make the hack-a-Shaq a successful strategy.
Assuming none of his free throws came from 3-point plays, that means that Shaq was fouled on 10 posessions and the Lakers got 9 points out of those possessions. That's like shooting 45% and never turning the ball over.
I'd foul him every single time that he catches the ball in the paint in a position to score, because you'd assume he has an 80% chance of scoring when he has the ball within 5 ft. of the basket.
But just to foul him even when he's not in a position to score will not work if he makes even about half of his free throws.

Every time Shaq does that little spin toward the basket, he travels. And nobody ever calls it. :unimpressed:

He is 2 for 13 in the first half tonight.
That's 11 of 33 in 8 quarters of playing time.

I'd be a happy guy if Shaq always shot this "well" from the line.
