Is there a such thing as a much win preseason game?

I think so, and I think the Pacers really need to win one of these last two preseason games. Why? Because if the Pacers want to be a playoff team, they need to learn to win on the road.

They almost pulled one out in Memphis, and then laid an egg the 2nd half against the Rockets.

We beat the Twolves at home so a win on the road against them should be attainable.

I don't know if anyone watch the post game video from last night.....

But I agree with Collison that the Pacers need to approach these preseason games like regular season games to build rhythm and a winning mentality.

Must win? No. Would it be nice for morale? Yeah.

The team does need to lock into regular season mode. Must win? No.

In any event, they just need to plug George into the starting lineup right now. I complained about McBob not getting on the floor last year. It is absolutely imperative that George play big minutes...which he has to my pleasure...and IMO he just needs to start now. Stop pussy-footing around and do it.

Now that the regular season is like 2 weeks away, I think we need to consider playing like we will when it officially starts.

It looks like they've started to do that.

I think we need to go ahead and start playing like it's March, right now.

Friday's game should be a decent testament to our team. It's ours and the Bulls last preseason game... they'll be at home. Us on the road. It should be about as close as you can possibly get to being a real game... both teams will want to take it. I'm really excited for that game. D Rose should be the perfect test to what we have at the point guard spot, offensively and defesively
