Maybe it is 33% off all Pacers merchandise at the Homecourt Gift Shop for anyone coming to preseason games in a Danny Granger jersey?

How about Team 33 in one of the lower bowl corners as additional help for Area 55?

Buy 33 games, get the rest free?

Granger jerseys for the next 33 to buy a mini season ticket plan?

The possibilities are nearly endless...

In a very scary point, "dreiunddreizig luftballons" scans pretty well...

He'll start to play defense?

Or he's pregnant?

Well, it would be one way for the Pacers to get more national attention!

If every player has this offer for the first 50 fans, that means there's like 800 of these available lol...nonetheless, a cool move by the Pacers and if I was in Indiana I would definitely be taking advantage of it.

I totally would, but I already won Staff Seats on the lower level through Twitter. :(

Should be a good game, though. I'm excited.

It also means ticket sales are still in the dumpster.

These sound like good deals, and I am happy that the Pacers are reaching out to fans in this way.

Interesting aside, though. The rep I have been dealing with this year called yesterday late in the afternoon as a followup trying to get me to commit to season tickets. I told her that I am still hesitant for two reasons, one being that I have a difficult time making a major commitment due to not liking the coach and his methods, and second due to the fear of making a commitment only to have other people come in and get a better deal than I got despite my making a larger commitment. She said, "Well, there is no guarantee that any promotions like we had last year are going to happen, so you had better make up your mind and start coming to games while you still can."

So, apparently, not even opening night is selling well at this point, despite what she led me to possibly believe in another part of our conversation, and she never mentioned the promotions that are coming out today, less than 24 hours later...

Note to any Pacers sales reps who might read this: Just be up front and let people know what is actually happening and about upcoming specials so that we can make informed decisions, and when specials do come up, compensate those who have made commitments to keep those people from feeling ripped off. That will retain the base for the future of the franchise, and will create the goodwill ambassadors to the general public that are key to the cost effective promotion of the franchise going forward.

800 out of 15,000? That's, what, 5% (and that only if every player on the team is doing this)?

I don't think a promotion to give folks a chance to win a discount on 800 seats is going to make or break the Opening Night sales. I think it's a way to get people going on the social networking stuff.

wish there was a special for the game on the 5 of Nov. I will be there either way but would be nice to get a deal on good tickets.
