WOW.. that was crazy ..
Lebron drives the lane spins into a 2 handed gorilla slam ..

They shoulda called that push on Bynum at that last 3pt shot of the 1st quarter..

The level of play is being pretty poor. Bucks vs. Bulls is being a better spectacle. Larry Sanders' athleticism and activity level are off-the-charts, very interesting prospect.

I was really hoping the Pacers would trade down to pick up Sanders. So far, I'm very pleased with Paul George, but Sanders would have been nice too.

I spent the Summer League trying to find a good comparison for him. I really couldn't come up with one. He physically looks like Larry Nance, or Danny Manning but he's got a long way to go to play like either of them.

Interesting is a good way to word it.

That game was pretty entertaining just in the fact that Wade went down early and everyone nearly lost their mind. I mean you could feel the hype and the double rainbow that appeared over Miami that day just completely vanish and transform into panic and frustration. You could feel it through the TV. It was also fun to see Lebron get a shot clock violation on their first offensive possession.

I will say this though, I think the comment on the radio is whats more worth the watch, NFL preseason or NBA preseason. NBA preseason is way better by miles. I can't stand to watch the starters come out and run 8 plays and call it a night.

LeBron looked as amazing as ever, man. He and Wade together for 82 + playoffs is just 'unfair.'

Yeah, he does look like those guys. But he doesn't have Manning's passing/shot-creation skills, he isn't that talented and I'd be very surprised if he becomes such a prolific scorer as Nance. He reminds me of Theo Ratliff - long, athletic, defensive minded, great shot-blocking, dangerous on the open-floor and very efficient as a complementary scorer. I'm expecting Sanders to be a better rebounder, but still a player of comparable value to someone like Ratliff. However I've been impressed by his jump-shot + that face-up right hand running hook since the Summer League. He lacks polish, but he shows some promise with how effective he's been executing those moves. Yet, it's his ability to make plays on the defensive end and his overall aggressiveness, going for lose balls, diving on the floor, etc., that has impressed me more.

And it was on last night again. Seems we're looking at "MiamiHeatTV" this year - instead of showing other games they'll just rerun previous Heat games.

Since this seems to be what the NBA fan wants, I despair.

Biggest story out of this game was Jerebko rupturing his achilles tendon, which didn't get any pub because everyone was too busy jerking off about Wade's slightly strained hammy. Sad.

Terrible news for Jerebko, but it can be a blessing in disguise for the Pistons. I read they were planning to start Jerebko at the 4 and play him big minutes there. Reckless decision that would hurt them. This opens minutes to Monroe and Daye and forces them to play Wallace/Maxiell at the 5 most of the time.
