Dude needs an intervention because he's killing his own brand with these antics...(much like LeBron how ironic)

Dan Gilbert Calls LeBron "A-Hole" on Twitter, Which Is Totally Fine Now
What am I missing? LeBron responds to a baiting question on race with a vague truism and the internet and talk radio go Mississippi Burning. Meanwhile, nobody makes a peep at Cavs owner Dan Gilbert having joined the pile-on by calling LeBron an "A-Hole" on Twitter.

You really have to go out of your way to assume it's anything but that when less than 24 hours after LeBron's now infamous comments on CNN, when nobody's talking about anything but LeBron, Gilbert decides to drop some wisdom about rich A-Holes from his @cavsdan account:

"Success/Wealth a big magnifying glass; If U were nice b4 U got em, U now nicer but if U were an A-Hole b4 U got em, U now bigger A-Hole" DG

Tell us more about bigger A-Holes, DG. Really, nobody wants to ask him about this? Not the Plain Dealer? Not ESPN? 19 Action News? Nobody? Hasn't decades-worth of programming been squeezed from a lot less than this?

So it must be official now. Spades are spades. It's Dan Gilbert and "real Clevelanders" against A-Hole LeBron until the end of time, with simply nothing in between. If the NBA really is turning into the WWE, it's not just the players making it happen. And everybody's totally fine with all of this.

Where's my Miami Heat snuggie?

There's no reason we can't dislike both of them. There's plenty of vitriol to go around.

Two wrongs don't make a right.. Sigh..

People of their popularity should hold higher standards of themselves, and quit pointing fingers at everyone.

I just wish that they would understand that when they go out of their ways to say things that a inappropriate they are hurting their credibility.. The bottom line is they are professionals and they should act as professionals.

They should try humble pie sometime. It's heart healthy.

If the NBA really does turn into WWE, it would be great for ratings.

Would that make the WNBA the new Divas? If so, that's a huge downgrade.

The XBA has a nice ring to it...

It's kind of funny actually. I hope Gilbert keeps it up. Then when the Heat visit
Cleveland they'll be just that much more motivated to destroy the Cavs.

Nice job Dan!

wwe sucks now it is PG they need to go back to PG-13 or R. All they care about is selling T-shirts to kids. Cena sucks compared to the Rock and Austin.

I'm sure he had Lebron in mind when he tweeted this, but the statement is a generalization and is true in a lot of respects. I mean, if you dont associate Lebron with this, the statement makes sense.

Atleast he didnt use Lebron name.

As much as I don't give a crap about LeBron, I could care even more less about Dan Gilbert. I'll care more about LeBron when the Pacers play the Heat.

I kinda like to draw the parallel to Peyton Manning. Imagine if he pulled the same stuff that LeBron did. (I have a mental image of Peyton rising from the floor with pyrotechnics wearing a Raiders jersey or something)

The least Irsay could do is post a couple inflammatory tweets. Just my two pennies.

Is Gilbert getting advice from Maverick Carter?

boy o' boy I can't wait till Miami plays @ Cleveland.....its gonna be sparks. The Heat may need a police escort to and from the "Q"

Did Gilbert actually write that? It looks like an Internet troll won the lottery and bought an NBA team.
