I cant believe Reid actually did this. I completely agree with this move as I never saw what Reid did in Kolb.

Yeah, unbelievable. Sticks with McNabb through thick and thin, then dumps Kolb after 2 starts? It's the right move, just one I thought Reid would NEVER make. I hope all those Philly fans understand that they asked for this and got it.

I don't buy this as Andy's decision at all someone forced his hand as if his job is depending on it.

I think the main thing that forced his hand is that the players want Vick. Seeing them interact with Vick vs. Kolb, they clearly look more comfortable and seem to like the guy better too.

And why shouldn't have Reid stuck with McNabb? He was the best qb this franchise ever saw and wasn't why we didnt win a SB in the decade he was here. Quite frankly I wanted Reid gone and McNabb to stay. But with the way Vick has played so far this season I am ok with him starting. Especially over Kolb.

Vick is playing very well right now, and not just with his legs.

His accuracy will never be confused with Peyton, or Brady, but his decisions have been solid from the 6 quarters I saw. Even when his accuracy problem does flare up, it's not compounded by throwing it into a crowd. Which has been his problem in the past.

If he keeps playing this way, he's going to earn a big enough contract to not be broke anymore at the end of the year. Something I didn't think was possible when he hit rock bottom.

Let's not for get that Vick had started to morph into a very complete QB before his criminal issues.

I'm guessing the Eagles didn't want to pay McNabb all that $$$ he was due they're cheapskates

Well starting Vick seems to be the right idea. He played very well once again yesterday. Stayed in the pocket and went through his reads and ran when needed. He really has a nice arm and is much more accurate than before. Spending a year under McNabb really seemed to help him. Now its time to beat McNabb and the Skins and grab hold of the division.

Let's not for get that Vick had started to morph into a very complete QB before his criminal issues.

His last year in Atlanta he completed 52.6% of his passes, so he didn't seem accurate at all to me. If he had started to gain in-the-pocket skills, then maybe he had JUST started. His current level of production is way out of line with anything he ever did, in my opinion.

He must have finally grown up, while also working hard on his throwing

I actually don't think that's correct. 2006 was a very **** poor year for him and the Falcons. They didn't even make the playoffs.

I never cared for him to begin with, but there is absolutely no way I could root for this guy.
