Just one day after the Timberwolves took out a full page ad in the Star Tribune admitting that they're unlikely to compete for a championship this season, general manager David Kahn hyped a potential ground-breaking move.

In a letter to Minnesota season-ticket holders, Kahn touted a "singular" move that will be made to complete his roster transformation.

Kahn didn't mention specifics. He's already been fined once this offseason for saying too much to the media.

I have always feared the Singularity while being mesmerized by its promise.

One move that will improve the franchise? What is he gonna resign or something?

Two months ago, Darko was the only starter on their roster. This must be a big player.

Much to do about nothing,

Unless he gets Carmelo, which I highly doubt

I doubt he's hinting at some imminent trade. It would just happen on its own; you wouldn't have Kahn teasing it just prior.

This is akin to Bird saying "you never know" with regards to draft night trades. He may have something cooking, but that's not a promise to make a trade.

Never gets old...lol

Unlike the real Kahn...

Does this guy have no concept of how to run a franchise, or what? This is ridiculous.

This guy really needs to learn to keep his mouth shut.

It's times like this I can't help but wonder how Kahn was not ranked last for GMs...

He sends Kevin Love to us for T.J. Ford.

Maybe he'll acquire another PG and have his dream all PG team.

I would have gone with "And in Espaņa, find him," but not bad.

You could have used the original "and in the darkness, bind them" since he has a bunch of point guards, but not one superstar (although Rubio might end up being one).
