I had no idea Collison was spending the summer in school completing his History degree. Here's a link to a really good interview he just did for the Bruins.

Also, here's a short article that goes with it:

On Wednesday, UCLA three-year starting point guard Darren Collison spoke exclusively with Ralph Irvin of BruinTV.

Darren talked about the inspiration behind coming back for summer school to complete his degree. He also spoke about how his career at UCLA prepared him for the NBA.

Darren will earn his degree in History at the end of the current session of summer school.

How dare he spend his summer in LA instead of here working. Roy's here.

It is almost too good to be true..this whole Collison thing. This is the Indiana Pacers! I fully expect to come on here one morning only to find out DC has robbed a bank and killed a few people on the way out. [/green]

Yeh, this kid just keeps sounding better and better.
I was thrilled to get his TALENT.
Now that it seems that he's a real quality person, well what a FLIPPIN bonus!!

Not that this team doesn't deserve it ;)

That's fantastic for him. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders. I like that in a PG. Interesting he choose History. (Just not the typical athlete major)
