Why does everyone think he is a bad defender when in fact is a solid defender. Just look at the playoffs against Dallas when his shot was not going he still played good to even great team defence at times. He is a positional defender. He does not have atheticism or hops to block shots but he stays in front of his man. I am not saying he can guard SGs like Ron can but he is good defender when it comes to guarding small fowards and lanky PFs like Dirk(in fact defends Dirk better than almost anyone in the league, to bad the coach only put him on Dirk in the fourth quarter in playoffs though.)
Like I am saying he is a bvery underated defender.
Again here is some proof to back me up

I would like to give you the following links so this might enlighten some of you on Pedja's defence

I agree and I have never said that he is a bad defender. But I have said that with Reggie and Tinsley on the floor I would like to have a better defender than Peja. A defensive combo of Jackson and Peja would be a much better option.

I don't know of too many of us that have said Peja is a bad defender, it is just that Artest is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good that Peja will seem like a big drop off

I don't think anyone is saying he's terrible at D. But neither is Ron terrible at O.

The delta between Ron's D and Peja's D is bigger than the delta between Peja's O and Ron's O.

Peja plays decent D, but a few last minute plays aren't going to convince those that stereotype him with most euro players for playing no D.
