"I've talked to Carmelo Anthony (http://www.nydailynews.com/topics/Carmelo+Anthony) that he needs to come out here," Stoudemire said. "I've talked to Tony Parker (http://www.nydailynews.com/topics/Tony+Parker). Both guys are ready to join me if I decide to come here. So we will see if we can work it out."

Amare is good, but he's making himself bigger then he is now. Definitely a negotiating tacting that he and his agent are employing and, offcourse, giving himself an ego-boost along the way.

Parkers not even a FA...Its only going to work if Spurs agree to a trade...and its not like NY has a lot of assets (besides S&T with Lee)

I think Amare's referring to next year.

At least, I hope he is.

Of course, S&T's could also be in the equation, but methinks that would be VERY difficult to negotiate.

Probably, yes. And he's also letting the Knicks know "I can get these guys here", which, offcourse, he can't, because allthough they might be friends this is still a business where financial decisions a lot of times prevail above sentimental ones.

He's also indirectly putting a bit more pressure on the Knicks by giving the fanbase in NY the idea that IF they sign him to this 5 year $100 mln. deal (  , I hope they do) everything will be looking up and star after star will come to them. Not to sign him would give a dent to that hope.

This is all easier said than done. Let's see how the new CBA plays out before discussing Melo and Parker heading to NYC. Neither will take a pay-cut and I think this is a pipe dream by Amare.

That is a lot of ego for one ball to handle.

Yeah and 90% of it is Amare's.

 It's going to be awesome when it doesn't go as planned :D.
