First off, there's a framed picture of Mike Wells in the background during the "live chat" section.

Secondly, I'm hoping part 3 is 2 1/2 hours of practice footage.

Interesting to see that Conrad was doing the typing on Paul's "live chat"....

Was that Wells in the background while Conrad was typing?

He seems like a nice guy. I'm looking forward to meeting him at a few games this upcoming season.

I'm hoping he helps get us into the playoffs.

Also, hopefully he does turn out to be the best player from this draft in another few years.

I feel bad for the kid having that camera in his face the whole time.

Seems to be a nice kid. I think he will fit in well with our roster.

Typically athletes don't type up their own chats..for whatever reason..

Damn, Conrad is a fast-typer.

It probably isn't that important, but I find it sort of deceitful that someone is typing for them - you are led to believe that they are doing the typing for themselves and you are getting them in the raw, not dressed up. After watching that, it would become obvious that Conrad was making Paul's responses look prettier for the reader, and I guess making me second guess who I'm really talking to when sending in questions for live chats.

Nonetheless, I agree, seems like a really nice kid and will fit in well. Probably didn't like having the camera in his face the whole time though - but in fairness it was only about 12+ minutes or so of his day, not overwhelming.

Conrad does the chat for every player, always has. Should make you feel comfort that the player is actually there answering the questions.

George seems like a good guy. Can't wait to see him in Summer League and during the regular season

This is why I like the Stephenson pick. We need some meaness/attitude/swagger.

Can't wait top see SL games so I can answer the " See George" poll Q w/ something other then a loser "0".

So pwee I guess thats the ideologic problem - it makes me uncomfortable about the idea that there is always a player sitting next to Conrad --- you would simply never know. And if not Conrad, then the ESPN chat host that is supposedly sitting next to LaDanian Tomlinson for example during a webchat.

Its not a big deal, it just violates a bit of my trust - I had always thought those questions were directly responded to by the players (or the interviewee) and not by proxy.

It is very rare that players answer questions directly.

For one, some have clauses in their contracts saying they have to have a rep with them when they do team events/interviews. Also, a lot would rather just verbally answer the question as opposed to having to type (not to mention most intermediates can type faster and better, so you get more questions in).

Gosh I feel sorry that everything was just Rush Rush to the next destination. LockerRoom, put your suit on, come this way, say I to Larry an David, come out here for the Presser, talk to the media, follow me back to the studio set, say these lines, follow me back to the media room for Live Chat. Okay lets go meet the owner.

I'm not a fan on Conrad, he does not come off as very personable. Like when El Pacero had the guest appearance on Pacer's Crate, he did not seem to happy about it.

It was Conrad's idea to have El Pacero on Crate after the "confusion" between Denari and El Pacero on the previous home game broadcast, so he didn't have a problem w/ EP being there.

The main reason the player chatting doesn't type his own answers is because they have never used the CoverIt live software, so we would rather maximize the time they're taking questions versus spending some of that time training the player on the system. As you saw in the video, Paul was very busy and only had 15-20 minutes available for the chat. Ultimately, Conrad is transcribing what the player is saying without a filter. I understand how it may come off misleading, but hopefully you understand the decision was made w/ the fan in mind.

Paul was a good sport when it came to filming him. As you can see in the first two parts of the video series, he was followed for a couple hours starting from his first meeting until he left.

Thanks for the feedback.
