me personally i would do it, he could be gotten cheap and i think he has enough experience from his travels in this league that he just wants to find the right place

I would definitely be interested in him, but I'm not too sure about the rest of the board. I'm a little partial towards him as I used to be a huge Wolves fan until KG got traded (became an NBA fan in around the 02-03 season and it was all T-Wolves for me until KG got shipped off to Boston).

We really have no room for him. Hes more of a SG than a PG. I dont think he could be too effective at PG and we're already loaded (Granger, Rush, Dunleavy, Jones and George) with swingmen

I would like to try him at point, but I don't think there's any way we could sign him to a deal this summer.

didnt he play pg while arenas was suspended. i would of thought of him more of a point guard than a shooting guard. couldnt we possibly do a sign and trade with washington maybe shipping out both the jonesssess

I think I'd rather keep Dahntay, though (I'm a big DJ fan).

Nail meet hammer. Your view is on target. Foye is a combo guard who is not much of a PG. There is a reason Minnie drafted 3 PG in last years draft.

Foye isn't the answer to the Pacers problem at PG. I'd much rather have Blake, Sessions, or Ridnour than Foye. I'd take Augustin, who I believe without a doubt is a step up over Foye, and be happy.

Im the contrarian here. I think Foye has possibilities. He has good size and decent quickness. His assists are low for a PG but so are his TOs. Decent range on shot and good foul shooter, decnet defender.

He would also have a ton to prove and would probbaly agree to a 1 year deal. If he or Steve Blake wind up being the fallback options ; I'll be okay with either. Id rather go that route than trade George or Hansbrough or Hibbert for a guy with a better current rep like Collison or Lawson.

His rainbow jumpshot is AWESOME when he's got it going. That being said, I'll pass. He's a SG in a PG's body with limited PG skills and average defense.

I agree he is more of a 2 than a 1. I know he has a lot of talent, but we are loaded on the wing... and I don't see him playing 30 plus minutes a night.

On a side note...how much of an epic fail was that Roy for Foye swap?

Bad deals like that one are why I had hope that we could sucker Minnesota into another one-sided deal prior to draft night :)

he's better than what he have now.

I'm not so sure about that, and I'm not a Ford fan. I want a true PG not a combo that will give Jimmy the opportunity to play a 2 PG backcourt with Foye at SG.

Has the size to not be the defensive liability that Ford is at point and he can shoot the 3. Less TOs than Ford too.

Would you go for Hill or Foye?

I don't think he'd be very expensive to attain, either.

id go foye i think everyone forgets hill plays for the spurs and at the spurs they respect the coach and want to play to the best of their abilites. i think different players play better for different coaches i just dont see hill doing good here. everything that the pacers do is jumbled around and game after game there is no game plan for them to follow so hill wouldnt even know what his role is let alone if he would be starting or coming of the bench
