Washington now has Wall, Arenas and Hinrich at PG. It's quite possible that they will move one and because of Arenas recent troubles, I think they would likely be willing to trade him. So the question is would you want to make a play for him? I know he has baggage but he is a very good point guard. He would make a major impact IMO.

Championship Quality Team?

Arenas
George
Granger
??? PF we make another trade for or get in 2011
Hibbert

A D league championship team? Possibly. An NBA Championship (Insert 50 smiling and driving away).

Well, there's that. Plus, who knows if he will be eligible for work release. :D

No thank you.

We've already had players who were a bit trigger happy in the pat. Don't need any more.

I'll take Hinrich, but not Arenas.

How is paying Hinrich 9 million bucks to dribble in circles better than paying TJ Ford 8.5 million to miss shots?

I don't care for Hinrich the distributor so much as what Hinrich can do as a role player. I'd want him for his three-point shooting for when defenders crowd Danny and Roy as well as what he can do on defense. I think we'd get more value out of Hinrich's 9 million than Ford's 8.5 million.

A couple of thoughts. One, I don't want to pay 9 million to a role player. Two, Hinrich's contract has two years left compared to Ford's one.
