Here is my attempt at making the pacers playoff contenders again

First Trade:

Brandon Rush, Troy Murphy, next years 1st,
To Minnesota for:
Al Jefferson

Second Trade: Tj Ford and Dahntay Jones, 2 2nd rd picks, 3 mil cash
To LA Clippers for:
Baron Davis

Draft:
Xavier Henry

FA: Kyle Korver, Shaun Livingston

Davis/Livingston/Price
Korver/Henry
Granger/Dunleavy
Jefferson/Hans/McBob
Hibbert/Jones/Foster

Why for Minnesota?
The can draft Favors who could be much better than Al Jefferson, plus they get Rush who could easily start for them, Troy's huge expiring, and a first. What's not to like for them?

Why for LA?
They dump the salary of BDiddy, and get TJ's expiring, get Jones who could be valuable to them, plus some picks and cash.

Why Korver?
I've always been a fan of his. He could average 15ppg in Obie's system.

Why Livingston?
He did very well in Washington last year. Wouldn't be a bad b/u pg to have.

Why Henry?
He's Rush's replacement. He'll probably end up being better than rush anyways.

This is easily a 5th seed team in the East. Even with JOB coaching.

I'd would surely take a chance on him. Yeah, he's not ideal, but the man averages 8 assists. And his contract is terrible, but it depends on how badly you want to get back into the playoffs...

I want a rebuilt franchise not just a year or two in the playoffs only to be right back rebuilding. I say no to BD!
