The game will begin this Sunday & we are in need of 3 players to complete our league.

Check out the game rules & if you'd like in just post your name & I'll add you to the list.

Here is the final version of the rules.......

1. You will draft a 10 player roster of any basketball player you desire. Any player that has ever played the game is eligible. Living or dead, played in the past or is playing now.

2. The start of the game will be August 1st & it will run until it is finished. That means we arn't rushing to get this wrapped up in 2 or 3 weeks. If it takes until the end of September, so be it.

3. The size of the draft will be 16 teams.

4. The draft order will be determined by me. It will be done by a blind drawing.

5. No delay of game & no *****ing. Just like in the NBA, I don't want to deal with either one. If you want to play, make sure you are ready when your turn comes up. If your playing & someone is a little slow in making a selection, I'll deal with it. I don't wanna hear any whinning!

6. It's your team, draft who ya like. If you want to draft 10 small forwards go ahead. I would prefer a more balanced team & you might look a little foolish without a hall of fame center & an all star point guard, but hey, who am I to judge?

7. Players may only be selected once. This is an all time NBA draft, not everyone can have Wilt on thier roster.

8. Following the draft we will have a single elimination tournament. This tournament will be on "What if Sports", I'll have a link for it at a later date.

9. Before the tournament starts you will need to decide what year's stats each of your players will use. You don't need to decide at the time of the draft, but you will need to know before the tourney begins.

10. Draft order. I'll have the offical list up later today but this is how it will be set up.....

If you have the first pick in the draft then you will have the last pick in the 2nd round. If you have the last pick in rounf 1 then you will have the first pick in round 2. T

Everyother round is opposite of the one before it.

This is the draft order of those that are in the game. We have openings at selections 7,13 & 16.

Jose, do not panick, but that is 6 PM my time, as usual I have to work and in this case will have to install a few machines 250 miles down the road, I will be back close to midnight, but seeing as I am #9 in the draft anyway, it should not be that much of an inconvenience.

Roaming Gnome

The Roaming Gnome Fury has no chance against my Owensboro Knights!!

It took me 4 days to make this, Im not very good at these things :(.

Now if you want a drafting game that could be entertaining...how about a game where you have to pick the worst roster of guys and have it set up like Golf where the lowest score wins and the loser advances and the biggest :loser: loser :loser: gets the trophy! We can't be keeping the Joe Wolf's and Wang Zhi Zhi's of the NBA out of the mix!

WTF that draft lineup looks like just your list of people who signed up...15th pick!? WTF!? I'm screwed before I even begin! I want a redraw!

JOneal7, that means you get the 2nd pick in the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, and 12th rounds. That doesn't suck.

There is no real time table between picks. As long as you don't take more than 12 hours to make your pick I don't think there will be a problem.

No trades, sorry

Is that your final answer?

A question: The What If site includes ABA seasons for players that were in both leagues. Are those seasons fair game when choosing seasons for the players we draft or can we only use NBA seasons?

Jose Slaughter

Any player, any league, any season.

As long as they are listed on the What if Sports site.
