Where is Murphy going to play with Aldridge at PF?

Why would Portland want McBob back?

well the way i looked at it was, portland gets a rid of a contract that they dont want in webster, while also getting a top ten pick in this years draft, they hold on to murphy looking for him as tradebait at next years trade deadline, and finally as for oden he just wants some home cooking , coz he isnt going anywhere in a while and im sure the franchise dont want to look like idiots for giving him a new contract on bum knees, so might as well be the pacers , coz they can not hit any lower at the moment

so you still wouldnt do this trade , from the pacers perspective?

One flaw making itself abundantly clear in the Phoenix series was the limited outside shooting of Portland's backcourt. With Roy out and Rudy Fernandez a non-factor, the Blazers had no one back there capable of consistently hitting three-pointers to keep the middle open for LaMarcus Aldridge. The result? Aldridge, a 50% field-goal shooter during the season, hit only 43% from the field because the Phoenix guards could collapse quickly inside, knowing they didn't have to defend three-point shooters. Andre Miller and Jerryd Bayless are good players at the point guard spot Bayless played very well at the two with Roy out but they don't scare anyone with their shooting.

I think its a great thought to try and get Oden back home but Portland has to much invested and Durant has been too good to give up on him already.

But I could see a possibility especially with tehm looking at a new GM if you proposed the following:

Hibbert
Rush
Murphy
#10 pick

for

Oden
Webster
Przbilla
#20 pick

I still doubt that they do that deal but it would stop and make them think especially if they like someone at 10.

i cant see the pacers doing that, they lose to much on that, they get two injured players in return, both knee injuries. maybe if we gave them our pick in 10 and 11 both first rounders lottery not protected .

Of course the Pacers would do it, but why even discuss such an improbable deal? Would love to see us acquire Oden on the cheap though...I still believe.
