anyone else watching it this year? Its been a pretty exciting season so far. Last night Messi put on quite a show for Barcelona - Tonight's match between Man U and Bayern has been pretty solid so far...anything can happen in the second half...looking forward to it!

Not a big fan of the clubs in match tonight. But ive watched what ive been able to here in Indiana.
I havent gotten to see a lot.
I am sad, however, that Man U is no longer in it.
But who knows, I may watch. I may not be a fan, but Barcelona is a very talented club.

Barcelona all the way!

Seriously, even people who aren't fans of soccer should watch Barcelona play if they have the opportunity. They're playing some of the best soccer ever, and Messi, their star player, is very, very spectacular.

A lot of people, especially in the US, don't like soccer because they think it's slow paced and therefore boring. But with Barcelona playing, it's neither slow paced nor boring.

WTF happened today Barca?

they looked a bit off - i think that 14 hour bus ride really factored in to the outcome tonight...Inter up 3-1 but I don't think they can consider themselves through just yet.

Josť Mourinho happened.

Meh... Barcelona has won against Mourinho's teams several times in the past. I think that Iniesta being injured is a big factor, and Guardiola's coaching wasn't great either.

Lyon looked awful last night - couldnt even get anything going against Bayern even though they were a man down. Hope Bayern qualifies for an electrifying final....

Can't hardly wait for the final match. I am pretty sure Bayern will take the cup home.

I'm rooting for Inter but I wont be home to watch the match - going to a Tiesto concert...I can't believe they pushed this match to the weekend this year! URGH...

It's amazing how much less excited I am for this year's final compared to last year. Inter/Bayern just isn't even on the same planet as Barca/Man U was in regards to my anticipation level. While I admire Inter for beating the best of the best to get there, I can't help but cringe at the thought of Mourinho winning another Champions League. I think it's pretty hard to make a case for anyone in the world being a better coach, but I just don't like him (my anti-Chelsea bias coming out).

I'm rooting for Bayern but I think the absence of Ribery will be too much for them. The Ribery/Robben winger duo was quite possibly the best in the world, but with most of the creativity impetus now on Robben, I think Inter's defense will be too stout.

My prediction: Inter wins 2-0.

I was in London last year when Barca and Man U played. I was at Lord's cricket stadium (kudos to those who know it), and when Barca scored, the whole place erupted. It was pretty funny.

This Bayern squad has to be the worst to make it to the final since those Valencia teams in the early 00's. They rode their luck and needed some abysmal refereeing decisions to go their way to scrape by fiorentina, some more questionable refereeing in the second leg of the Man United tie, and yet another shoddy decision in the first leg of the Lyon tie. Ribery's 3 match ban is harsh but really, after all that's gone their way, screw 'em.

It's hard to disagree with any that. Just adding to my lack of enthusiasm about this game.

It is cool that it's going to be on network television for the first time ever though.

Milito's first goal was pretty nice; good fake. Sneijder had a great chance of getting another in the first half. Bayern hasn't played that bad, they've bad possession for a good amt of time.

Wow, Milito's 2nd goal was just brilliant

Anyone else really excited for tomorrow's game? Great match-up for the neutral- should be a much better game than last year's borefest.

Gotta say though, whilst this Barca team play some beautiful football, more of the grating theatrics we saw against Real and i think most neutrals will invariably start to root against them as the match goes on.
