reminds me of players who played with a superstar in the past that made them look much better than they are

doesnt really excite me

He's an energy player who isn't very skilled. To repeat what I posted in another thread. He won't look as good not playing with Lebron

He's also only 21!! You all act like he won't improve at all. The physical tools are there he just needs to put it all together.

What UB said. I'd rather have the Cavs Pick and Powe.

...and have us draft the next LeBron to play alongside him.

you could not tell by the 14 troy murphy trade threads?

I don't think it's so much an issue of "Hickson's going to be amazing" as much as "Hickson's the only asset Cleveland has to give, and they have to give something."

hes really not that good and doesnt suggest to have much upside. ive seen him all season since i goto school in cleveland and honestly hes really not that good. hes overhyped here of course because everybody is a cavs/lebron bandwagon fan. i mean hes solid, but its not like hes anywhere near allstar level or anything. hes got nice post moves, hes big and is strong, and is a decent defender. kind of an all around guy. hes good in cleveland because hes a good complementary player. think somewhat of a chris wilcox with more upside (i got that comparison from a website, but its pretty on) but like you all said, def not the answer. nice piece to have for the future, though.

J.J. Hickson's career games: 116
J.J. Hickson's career assists: 26
J.J. Hickson's career T.O.s: 98

Yinka Dare would be proud.

I really need a floor/ceiling option to be able to accurately vote.

Floor would be solid rotational player.

Ceiling would be good starter.

There's a much better chance of the floor being reality.

I prefer him over Troy...and I'd even be willing to part with TJ to get him too. :P

Both he and Tyler would be great in our PF rotation. They're both athletic, defensive big men.

I see Tyler eventually starting over Hickson sometime next season when he's fully healthy.

It's hard to say how good he is/will be as young as he is.

I like him as a friend and hope he hasn't gotten the wrong impression.
