Anyone else thinking that we're going to run a lot of plays for Murphy tonight?

I'm hoping that Murphy gets a double-double and hits a whole bunch of 3pt shots.

Time to showcase to the Cavs what they are missing!!!

Hopefully we stay close while running our offense through Troy, and hopefully he camps out on defense just outside the lane so he can get about 15 boards.

A 27 pt. 15 board effort against the Cavs from Murph with 5 of 8 or so shooting from the arc would definitely help us a lot with Troy's trade value, especially if we limit his minutes to about 20 or maybe 25.

Good news. Save his energy so he can be more effective in shooting later in the game while letting Roy play against Shaq.

I'm hoping that Solo gets some minutes tonight......I can see Hibbert getting into foul trouble early tonight.

In terms of an ironic matchup.....I hope that Murphy is brought in to defend Big Z. On top of that....for once....Hibbert isn't the most unathletic Player on the court when he's guarding Shaq.

Playing these last two elite opponents clearly reminds me that we have the worst inside game in the NBA.

Can't hit the three, no chance hotel.

Is it bad when you look forward to playing the worse teams in the league more then the top teams in the league, b/c you feel you have a better chance of watching a win or close game?

If the pacers 3s are dropping they can beat anyone. When most of them are cold they can lose to anybody. It's an all or nothing approach. Take it to the rack!

Since they go all in with 3's they can make a run usually...this all depends on the opposing team going cold. Take it to the rack!

This game sums up so much about so many things. Our teams talent level is so far away from being competitive it isnt even funny. Granger is showing he has become to infatuated with the 3. Dunleavy has lost all confidence in his overall game. Murphy is not worth anymore than maybe an expiring. JOB is terrible. If Ford gets sat because his style does not fit the overall flow I would seriously think about sitting Murphy as well, but we all know that wont happen. It gets iring watching how bad this team is.

I can't stand Lebron.

Truthfully, I'm a Kobe fan..and it's not like he's all that likeable..but jesus..Lebron's a whinny spoiled brat.

CableKC

Lebron seems pretty irritated after that McRoberts foul. Of course, he then goes out and blocks a shot.

CableKC
01-29-2010, 08:03 PM
See.....McRoberts is good for something....he has 6 fouls to give...and he p*ssed off Lebron by fouling him hard enough to get under his skin :)

He has 3 fouls though....at this rate Solo is going to see some minutes.

CableKC
01-29-2010, 08:05 PM
Sorry...but Granger is as useful as Murphy is in the 2nd half of most games.......all he's doing is just taking jumpshots.

D-BONE
01-29-2010, 08:06 PM
Not unlike against the Lakers, there have been opportunities for us to get right back into it, but we can't hit a shot-good, bad, three, or otherwise. Granger's gotta perform better against this caliber of opponent for us to have any chance.

Sookie
01-29-2010, 08:06 PM
Well..14 point lead for them. Indiana can barely make a shot and every call is going towards the Cavs...it could be worse.

Also, Dunleavy is useless, try Head.

AJ is better scoring wise than Watson. I'm caught between wanting him to try and make a play for someone and just being like "shoot it yourself, it's not like they'll make a shot anyway." Especially with Gibson on him. (Not necessarily with Lebron on him..wtf was that about?) But he has been a little "score" happy lately.

Watson..bland.

Granger..WTF. Isn't this our star? Wakeup.

Dahntay. Thank you.

Nice minutes from McBob. He didn't do anything in particular except irritate Lebron..which we'll probably pay for, but at least it was slightly harder for them to score in the inside. And he made the decision that I asked for. Either let 'em go, or foul them. McBob chose foul and foul hard. Good for him.

Hibbert and Troy. Match Troy up against Shaq at first. At least it's a mismatch on the other end because it pulls Shaq away from the basket. He's just too strong for Roy. But it would help if Roy picked it up too.

Rush..good first half..poor second. I love it when JOB pulls a hot player just long enough to cool him down. To JOB's credit though, he's not the only coach that does that.

That is the unwritten disadvantage of three point shooting. You don't get many calls unless you attack the basket. Bottom line: Heaving three's does more than hurt your field goal percentage.

Mike's a vetern, his confidence won't be hurt when he is fully aware of the severity of his former injury. As for hurting the team, we don't have another player capable of passing and handling the ball like he does.

He likes to play in a system...like most players.

Also

The team shot 34% ...take out Price, Troy and Dahntay (only players to shoot over 40%) 28%

Can't win if you don't make shots.

AJ has been the ONLY bright spot of the last 10 games. I take that back - Roy has also been a breath of fresh air this season. I know he has been inconsistent, but he's played fairly well for a sophomore center in a get-up-and-go style offense.

Only thing with AJ is his drop in assists lately. I know there's more to being a point guard than getting assists, but he needs to facilitate better.

I think that obviously has to partially do with the fact that hs teammates aren't making shots, and actually a huge portion of his assists are from Dun, But he's also got to improve there.

Most of those "fans" probably didn't even know Cleveland had a team 6 years ago.

"All it takes", well to get a superstar it takes a lot. Wish we'd get a break.

Funny, I know some Colt's fans who didn't know the name of the starting quarterback 13 years ago.
