View Full Version : Sending Ford to the Bobcats

We basically need to send TJ Ford and his salary somewhere
and get something backwe could use.

However I couldn't find more than 3 teams that would consider Ford,
Maybe the Lakers for expiring contracts.

How about a trade with the Bobcats? Maybe we have to add a second round
pick or give more:-o

I like Diaw. Don't really care for Augustin.

Pacers make out like bandits on this trade. The Pacers would have to throw in their first round pick to even be considered, but I still think the Bobcats hang up.

couple quotes here

Mike (Boston)

if the Lakers don't go for Hinrich, what are the chances they throw together a little package for TJ ford? Or would Larry Legend not help them out?
Chris Sheridan
(2:49 PM)

Nobody wants TJ Ford. The Pacers have been trying to trade him for two years.

Josh Schmidt (MA)

With the open roster spot, you see the Boston Celtics doing any moves such in a trade or signing a veteran?

I see them patiently waiting to see who gets bought out between the end of the trading deadline and March 1, then going after the best of that bunch. Buyout candidates who might fit; Keyon Dooling, T.J. Ford, Mark Blount, Tony Battie, Jarvis Hayes, Trenton Hassell.

No way Bobcats would do this

Sub Nazr Mohammed in for Diaw and the trade would make more sense for both teams. Not sure if the salaries match up perfectly but they should be close.
