I really liked being at the game in Colts gear, knowing I would be leaving at halftime to head over to the Luke to watch the Colts/Ravens game. It felt very strange packing up and leaving at halftime. We NEVER leave early, regardless of score, so this is the first time we have left a game before the final buzzer!

I thought the Pacers were playing pretty good, but figured it would come down close late and they would probably give it up to the more experienced team. Having Chris Paul on your team might be a bit of an advantage!

AJ addressed the crowd before the game and hoped everyone would remember what the MLK Day holiday on Monday was for...He seems like a pretty nice kid. I hear he can play ball pretty well also!

Another concrete boots opening tip....sigh.

Earl had to deal with Nash one night, and CP3 another. Those were two pretty tough matchups for anyone, but I thought he played pretty well considering...

You shoot like a girl....

Great to see Pacer Guy in the house last night!

Same goes for Rik Smits!

The little kids playing was pretty entertaining...It was amazing how well they handled the ball and shot for being 2nd graders!

Boomer made the mistake of messing with one of them and accidentally knocking him down. After that, he took a massive beating! It was awesome, and the kids LOVED IT...

Sorry, that's all I got since I wasn't there very long!

Pacemates photo thread for this game is HERE (http://www.pacersdigest.com/showthread.php?t=50060).

I see Rik Smits was sitting behind the Pacers basket. It looks like his dad and son are with him. Note his son has a #55 Hibbert jersey on. Why would his son like a center? :p

Good to see Rik at the game, he's one of my all time favorite Pacers.

Uh man, I believe that's his wife.

That's what I thought, too... :D

Unless his "son" is in the process of going through the "change" Dutch style and the estrogen therapy is already doing its job somewhat, prior to the actual surgery.:eek::eek:

Whoops! I saw a pic of his son and dad, and just figured it was them with Rik. Now that I look closer it does look like the "son" has a bust.

To all,

The person known as "Pacer Guy" is a fraud. He does/did the same **** for the BOSTON CELTICS when they were in the Finals two years ago. Now, no one is saying he can't be a fan of two teams, I just get mad when everyone just kisses his *** as the greatest Pacers fan ever (Not saying you are heywoode)

But we need fans, it's whatever, just kind of annoying to me and someone posted a screen cap of him at the Celtics game I thought, too.

But good pics, and sounds like you had a great Indiana sports Saturday!

EDIT - Calling him a fraud may be too harsh, but at least refer to him as Pacers/Celtics guy.

Yo Chris. Pass me the ball a lot tonight, okay?
We'll see.

Get fired up Pacers fans

Price gives his MLK announcement, making about the 10th pregame announcement by a player this year. Nothing wrong with that, just pointing out the change from years past.

The tip

Granger doubled and it eventually forced West to turn baseline and make a desperate pass that went for a turnover.

Dear Peja, I hate you still. Thanks for phoning it in. Enjoy your big contract and continued playoff frustrations.

Um, you think Roy bit the fake a bit too hard?

JOB got a tech but Dun was right there with him losing his s***. This was them calm because it took me a second to realize and get the camera up for the shot.

Paul was intensely discussing some strategy with Okafur. Not mad, he was pointing out something about either us showing our hands or Oak, like when to make a move or something we were doing that he could take advantage of. Good stuff even though I couldn't quite hear it.

I blew the shot exposure a bit, but still, tell me this isn't a carry or close to it.

Woody is covering up for the Pacers to avoid the shame. Let me tell you the real story...

Nice kids game going on till this hard foul

Then someone throws a beer and starts yelling "bulls*** call"
(hint: it was me)
Somehow they thought Boomer had done it
(hint 2: I threw it from behind him and then said "hey, look at me")

So this happens

Eventually the police came to break it up, but not before one kid earned the nickname "lil dustpan" ;)

OK, I'm gonna say it.

Heywoode, those pictures are too damn big! Make 'em smaller so they fit on a computer screen.

And, while I've got your attention: WKOCDYH?

I don't usually disagree with you, but . . . NO THEY'RE NOT!

They fit fine on mine! You need to change your screen size.

Ummmmm....are you talking about mine, Putty? I always size mine for even the small screens....Seth's are a bit bigger than mine at times, but you should still be able to deal with it. All that really tells me is that your screen resolution is set WAY too big!

Oh, and IHACTTP.

That means, "I Have A Camera That Takes Pitchures."

Yeah, I'm on the desktop where my rez is less than on my laptop (and not widescreen). Little big.

I didn't want to shrink them more because I thought they were getting too small. The big ones are 20-30%. Some of the smaller ones I cropped and shrank.

Heywood, I got the Tamron 28-75mm at 2.8 to use at games. I think you'd recommended it or something similar. The lens seems a bit soft, but also the AF is a little hit and miss. A lot of it is the guy driving the thing, but I'm getting better at doing my own settings.

My buddy got dinged for camera equipment right before Xmas, but he was bringing in his own darn bag AND had his long lens on the camera as he came in.

If you want we can hook up by the walkway if you are going to the Philly game and try to get my 80-200 2.8 in for you to use from upstairs. If they ding you I'll just take it back to the car, no sweat.

Putty - I'm using the Canon Rebel XSi which I just got a few months ago as a Rebel upgrade.

OK. My bad.

Thanks, all.
