I hope we can pull this game off. I am doubtful. I still have nightmares about the last game the Pacers had against Amare. I think he went off for over 50.

It would be nice to have Dahntay start off against Richardson. Add some size, defense and perhaps energy after the lack playing time. Hope we get off to a solid start

I think that is even scarier. Stoudemire doesn't really body up. He is ultra athletic quick. They would probably be best stickin Danny on him.

It's better to have an tall outside shooter like Troy on another tall outside shooter in Frye. Troy on Stoudemire is a bad idea.

Stoudemire plays the paint more like a center than Frye does so it should be expected that Roy stays down there or on Stoudemire if he's away from the paint.

Didn't JOB say Hansbrough is still getting dizzy? Is he going to guard Amar'e? Or is Murphy? Either way, it's going to get ugly.

Uh oh...surely JOB is not going to give Hibbert a DNP-CD? I would have thought Hibbert would have came in for Murphy at the C spot, and Solo for Tyler at the PF.

Sort of...he's suffering from a bout of JO'Sinusitus.

I'm guessing it's because the Suns have a more athletic Frontcourt.....and JO'B would prefer a quicker lineup. I'm waiting for Murphy to man the Center spot with Granger guarding Frye soon....

Nothing...JOB has already decided that the game is going to be too fast for him. JOB has got to be the ONLY coach IN THE WORLD who starts players then give them DNP-CD within 5 games. Bird might as well trade D. Jones and Hibbert. Let them go somewhere where the coach will use them effectively. First it was Ford, then D. Jones, and now (thus far) Hibbert.

A sign of a good coach is one who USES his weapons and makes the other team adjust to them. Not the other way around. We are playing the way the suns want us to which is why the score is the way it is.

We do...JOB doesn't know how to use them. Example...why is Luther Head still starting ahead of Brandon Rush and D. Jones? Why does JOB keeps insisting on having two PGs in the backcourt? Why does JOB wait so long before calling a timeout? JOB is an idiot.

When halftime is over he needs to start Price, Rush, Jones, Granger, and Hibbert. Hmmm....minus Price wasn't this the team that got the 5 game winning streak? We needs Jones, in conjunction with Granger, to get those bigs in foul trouble, so they'll be scared to play aggressive against Big Roy.

We don't have that already? Over the last 2 seasons......we have been giving Player career nights.....that's why upcoming FAs love to play the Pacers....we make them look like Jordan or Larry Frakkin Bird on the Offensive end. When it comes to earning a FA contract....all they have to do is pop in a tape of their highlights against the Pacers. Goran Dragic looks like frakkin John Stockton out there.

Teams are not going to adjust to us if we play Rush or Jones or Head. They wouldn't look up from their morning paper. If we put a team on the floor with a dominant player like Dwight Howard or LeBron James, they would adjust to us. I don't think we have any personnel worth adjusting to.

Man, the last couple of games have been something. Especially the 3rd quarter pushes we've made.

I remember for the last 3 or 4 seasons, that the 3rd quarters were our downfall. We'd start off good, and give games away in the 3rd.

The Suns are helping us out by shooting jumpers when they have been having their way in the paint since Roy got his 5th.

Roy not starting tonight might have won it for us tonight, with more time he probably would have fouled out by now.

Who can figure out this team?

We have seen epic comebacks the last 2 games. It seems like when they want to play they can hang with anyone. Just perplexing... I love to see these guys fight and tough it out like this.

This was probably one of the more hilarious game threads I can remember. It started fizzling a bit when we were making our comeback, which means some people were busy watching the game. Thank the lord we got a win tonight.

Troy Murphy is a 70% three point shooter from the straight-away, but below 10% at all other points along the three point arc. Am I the only one who expects him to make every straight shot and miss every other one?
I feel the same way, but are those real numbers or made-up ones?

I'll say it again. It's games like these that give me hope we can make it back to a respectable .500 by season's end. Or darn close.

Interestingly, it turns out that memory does not, in fact, serve us well. The straightaway isn't as good to him as it would seem.

http://www.nba.com/hotspots/

For the season he's 2-4 on corner threes, for 50%.
He's 14-28 (50%) from the left elbow and 6-17 (35.3%) from the right.

From straight away, he's 30-78 for 38.5%. A good percentage, but not nearly as high as it seems. Although I wonder what his percentage is when trailing the break... I bet it's high.
