Good defense by the Pacers on the opening offensive series for the Lakers. Hopefully that's a sign of good things to come on this evening.

Our defense has had great series' each time the Lakers have had the ball so far. We're forcing them to take bad shots WAY in the shot clock.

The shot clock keeps giong off.

And Miller drains a deep two!!

Already four quick points for Ronnie!

It's also great to get some early fouls on George.

Good timeout by Rick I think.

I like how Ron is really looking for his offense early on in the game. That shot by AJ was 3/4 down, but just popped out.

Pollard in pretty early. Doesn't really seem like a game where he would be much use. Figured we would see Cro first. Ah.. there he is.

What an ugly first quarter!

But I'll take it any time we're up 10 in the Lakers!

Holdin' 'em to less than 25% shooting so far. Keep that up, and we'll win big.

What's up with the Knight Rider techno? :hmm:

Once again, we're blowing our chance to put a team away. Good D, but no O. Why can't we once in a while play well on BOTH sides of the ball?

24-14

able
02-02-2004, 08:39 PM
Hmmm we're fouling to easy, or the refs are calling them to easy :)

We're stagnant now a bit, guess it's time to bring back the Tins.

Cheap foul on Ron Arest though.

BLOW 'EM OUT, PACERS!

able
02-02-2004, 08:42 PM
Well I can't help it, but whenver AJ plays, the scores are much more "self-created" then team worlk as when JT is in.

Tins seems to be far better in creating offense which allows us to score easier

How cheap are these fouls on the Pacers??

Fox can poke in there twice in a row, yet if Croshere even puts a single part of his jersey on a Laker there's a quick whistle far away from the basket. That's just a load of bull so far.

Refs going for record of most fouls on one team in a quarter. :unimpressed:

They've seemed pretty one-sided tonight. Besides the touch fouls on us, even Quinn noticed that they've allowed the Lakers to get away with **** on the other end. Pretty obvious.

If this were close, I'd be pissed.

I think even Phil Jackson realizes we're falling asleep. But I do know that Carlisle realizes that we're falling asleep.
