If you haven't gotten your mail yet, odds are you're in for a big surprise. There are some, IMO, fairly major changes to seating prices. Some prices are going way up, while others are going way down.

I wish I could post this new seating map, but I don't have a scanner. The letter states that they're letting us know before the general public.

It goes on to say that 56% of tickets will be increased (by an average of 9.7%). Which, of course means that 44% will stay the same, or go down.

I'm gonna try and break this all down, but so much has changed, I'm having a hard time keeping it all straight. It's more than just the prices changing, because parts of sections have changed price levels as well.

old/new
$395/$495
$230/$250 on baseline, $150 behind basket
$145/$175
$120/$175 on baseline, $150 behind basket
$94/$96 (club level)
$92/$108 on baseline, $150 behind basket
$72/$74 (club level)
$69/$75 in corner, $150 behind basket
$60/$62 (club level)
$58/$65
$51/$45
$45/$45 or $30 (sec. 207, 210, 223, 226)
$32/$30 on baseline, $20 in corners
$18/$30 on baseline, $20 behind basket, $10 in corners
$10/$10

That's the best I can figure it out, comparing the chart I have to the one on Conseco: http://www.consecofieldhouse.com/pacersseatingchart.asp

As to be expected, for the most part people in the lower level got screwed, while many people in the balcony are either decreasing a little or a lot. For example, I'm not sure where in 222 Jay sits, but either way, he made off like a bandit (surely to combat his ever increasing gas bills.)

That's it. I'm sure this will go public in the next week or two.

Note, these are season ticket prices only. The last couple years, PS&E has moved towards these prices being slightly lower than per-game pricing. You can note the difference on the link above, which last year looks to be either $5, $2, or $0, depending on the price level.

 Big business. Although, I almost always sit in the balcony, so I'll probably be okay. :p

Kyle and I were going to upgrade if we can get half-season in the lower level. But now we might re-consider. I'm looking forward (not) to opening that piece of mail... especially since my 'credit' won't be as large as the past three seasons.

It's just the price change notice, along with the upgrade/improvement form. The renewal bill will be sent out in "10 days."

I'd say stay where you are. I was shocked how much cheaper your section is.

Yes my tickets are going up to $65.00 which is pretty steep, but I am like the worst drug addict, I am addicted and there is no de-tox.

However Kegboy you did not mention how many seats in the balcony are being lowered. Almost every seat is.

I have the seating chart from last season and comparing that to the one I got in the mail today.

Every $47 ticket is being lowered. About half are being lowered to $45, but the other half are being lowered all the way down to $30. That is quite a drop. You can now get a $30 front row of the balcony seat even with the no charge circle in the lane.

many tickets are being lowered from $32 to $30 . However some $20 tickets are being raised to $30.

it would appear that have increased the number of $10.00 tickets by about 50%.

There are a lot of tickets going from $32 to $20 Just realized more than I first thought.

So if you are a balcony person you have about an 75% chance your tickets will be less.

The lower level is where the prices are being raised.

but I can't blame the Pacers, the lower levels is always sold out.

I did mention that "many people in the balcony are either decreasing a little or a lot", UB. But there are some raises. Off the top of my head, one is the ends going from $18 to $20 (no big), and the big one, relatively speaking, is the tops of the baselines going from $18 to $30, or 66%. :o

My condolences on your increase, btw. Is Peck on the end or baseline? If he's on the baseline, he's really screwed.

Uh oh....The tops of the baselines as in the last few rows or the front row of the balcony on the baselines?

Last few. If you want a seat under $30, you have to sit in the corners or ends. :(

Wait; what's baseline and what's end to you? I'm thinking baseline is behind the baskets and then I think of ends as behind the baskets too.

By baseline I mean the long way. Maybe that should be sideline. :whoknows:

You're correct Kegboy. If you want to sit at midcourt very top row that will cost you $30 next season. last season the same seat was $20.
