According to David Aldridge.

I don't have an article, I just read it on another board.

I guess this means we might actually get Stephen Jackson then?

Guess the Suns are out of the Kobe sweepstakes with Nash and Richardson joining them. I have read the the Paper Clips most likely won't match an offer for Richardson but who knows? I say this thinking that I heard he was a restricted free agent. If he is unrestricted, nevermind.

Think of the suns lineup now.

Nash Q-Rich Matrix and Amare man thats not bad at all.

If the suns sign richardson and nash they become a playoff team in the west.

so what happens to joe johnson?

so what happens to joe johnson?

That's what I was thinking, they both play the 2 spot and they are both starter quality players.

so what happens to joe johnson?

I'd think they'd keep developing him, or maybe try and package him for a center. After Okur went off the board, I don't think they were interested in overpaying for 5.
I like shooting guards that can shoot.

I think it would be hilarious if everyone spends thier money; then if Kobe is found innocent the Lakers could be bidding against themselves and Kobe might have to play for the MLE.

:evillaugh:  :smartass:

Maybe we're trading Al for Joe Johnson....

I doubt Phoenix would be interested in Al when they have Marion and Amare. We could do worse than Joe, though.

Here's the link, btw. 6-year, $48-50M.

I dunno. I'm not too sold Joe Johnson. Yeah, he's 6'7 and a G, which is nice, but I wonder about his bball IQ. I'm curious to see how he does in the league with steady playing time.

Yeah, Suns are putting together a nice little squad.

Err. Another one bites the dust. I liked the idea of Q playing here.

I'll take Joe Johnson any day. He already is a very good player, and will liekly be an allstar before too much longer

they are totally different players. Johnson is one of the best slashing SGs in the NBA. Hes very quick off the dribble, but isnt much on the other side of the ball, nor is he a good shooter.

Richardson has good range, and may be the strongest 2guards in the NBA. He gets a lot of offensive boards and draws fouls because he's so strong. However he isnt exceptionally quick, nor does he make good decisions.
