http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=nfq5pk --> The trade doesnt quite work because Ellis is still under BYC, I think it'll work after July 1

Pacers Send:
Foster
Tinsley
Ford
Murphy
2009 First Rounder
2011 First Rounder

Pacers Receive:
Ellis
Amare

Golden State Sends:
Ellis

Golden State Receives
Ford
Foster

Suns Send:
Amare

Suns Receive
Murphy
Tinsley
2009 First Rounder
2011 First Rounder

We would definitely need to pick up some players to fill roster spots. Possibly pick up Kareem Rush for the vet min. He played pretty good when he was a Pacer and his defense was pretty good too. We could also sign Zaza for pretty cheap, hes an aging big man also.

With a team like this, Amare would most likely resign because it would be a solid young core with years of great success. This season the Suns missed the playoffs and Im sure Amare wasn't too pleased with that

Ellis/Jack/Diener
B-Rush/K-Rush
Granger/Dunleavy
Amare/McRoberts
Hibbert/Zaza

As Michael Jordan once said to Kwame Brown, "It definitely is a dream."

What's your fascination with Ellis? He's not what you call, a point guard, which is what this team needs more than a scoring guard like him. If that's how our team was built, then ok, but even O'Brien himself wants a distributor at that position. I think he's an ideal player to have coming off the bench or at most, starting at the 2 with a bigger point guard next to him (like Baron). But since we have Rush, who is better for our needs at the 2, it's not practical to trade for him. Plus, GS would want more for him than Ford and Foster.

I agree. I don't have any interest whatsoever in bringing Ellis to the Pacers. Plus, you get Amare and Ellis and pair them up with Granger, Hibbert, and Rush. You could play with three basketballs and those guys wouldn't be happy with the number of shots they are getting.

That would be the All-No Defensive team.

Plus Ellis not being forthcoming about his moped wreck exposed very very
serious character flaws that cannot be taken lightly.

Plus Ellis not being forthcoming about his moped wreck .........
Moped.

If it was a Harley or some 'real' bike, it's a lot more palatable. Moped ??

What's that joke ............... What do a moped and a fat chick have in common ??

They're both fun to ride but you don't want your friends to see you on either one.

I think we give up too much in this trade myself.
