Why was she cut? Because Lin Dunn and Kelly Krauskopf are the stupidest people to ever be in charge of a franchise.

Seriously, I'm pi$$ed.

Maybe its because they spent a lot of money to get Dixon in..Perhaps she wasn't performing well during training camp? How do you guys know whats going on behind the scenes?

Replacing Tan with a Dixon from 5 or 10 years ago might make sense, it sure doesn't now. Going to be a lot of unhappy fans.

Not if they win a title this year..

I just heard on The Dan Dakich show today that the WNBA has cut their rosters from 13 players/team to 11 so I'm sure that had a lot to do with Tan getting the ax. However, I'm still convinced there is someone esle on the roster they should have dealt.

As for them winning a title this year their chances sank to I'm not sure they'll make it out of the first round.

Not if they win a title this year..

That might be the only thing that would. With the Simon's ultimatum hanging overhead, stupid move to **** off your existing fan base.

I scout for a WNBA team...

White isn't that good. She cannot shoot the ball. She can penetrate but she is a boom or bust player. She can be truly awful at times and takes a lot of ill advised shots. They drafted January, who can score the ball and actually SHOOT it, so she will likely get Tan's minutes. It won't be a significant loss, and this team absolutely should make it out of the first round if healthy. No excuses. We'll have to see if Dunn does a better job making in-game adjustments this year though.

Here comes another bad decision to made by the Fever.
I'd rather see Erica White be cut.

I have gotten to watch Erica White a lot over the past few weeks. She's a great defender and she can play 2 positions which Tan could not.

I really think what happened is someone asked Linn Dunn if she wanted a white tan and she said she didn't need it.

Maybe not her then if she plays good defense.

Now Erica White and Khadijah Whittington have been waived.

Fever sign C Jessica Moore and G Eshaya Murphy. No relation to Troy.

I still don't understand why Tan was cut.

I still don't understand why Tan was cut.

Me either. Even now I'm pretty pissed about it.

She was one of our best bench players.

The roster limit should be 13 again.

The roster limit should be 13 again.

Why is that? In a league where teams have had to stoop to having corporate sponsors on their jersey's just to stay in business I'd think the reason the roster is limited to 11 is because the teams can't afford to pay 2 more players.

I just think this because of the cuts the Fever made already this season. I hate it that the WNBA is struggling to stay in business.

I was kind of troubled when I first saw that news. Tan was my favorite Fever player. However, I am happy to have Jessica Davenport, a very good player at Ohio State.
