To all those who want to trade Foster who would take his place-Hibbert and a PF rookie not named Griffin? If we trade Foster for a PG then the 5 is even in worse shape. The pacers did the exact right move in giving Foster 2 more years even if he is in a decline.

Last year was the right time to trade Foster, when not only did he have better value as a player and an expiring contract the following year, but also when there was a deep draft that we could have used an additional pick for. At this point though, it's probably not worth it unless there's a deal that's too good to pass up.

If we could of really got Kleiza a pick for Foster like some people were saying, then we are retarded for not taking that deal. Foster is a great guy to have on your team, but with our current roster I am not sure he fits. We are rebuilding and he is on the decline, he needs to play for a contender.

This needs a new thread? It couldn't have been added to the original Foster thread?

I believe trading Foster is not an issue anymore.
If it is, why we extended the contract (2years, 6M/yr) with him?
