I think he wears it, i mean he already had to, but didn't and ended up being poked in the eye and having surgery. I think it's kinda cool like Rip wearing his mask.

He's worn them before, but I don't remember why. They look like sunglasses anymore.

he worn them before because somebody pock him in the same eye(before), then he took them off and said that he did not need them anymore because that was a freak accident and then happened again :eek:.

Boris Diaw poked him in the eye causing a partial tear in his iris...thats what caused him to wear the goggles
