Sorry if this has been posted already. I did a quick skim and didn't think it had been. Found this on ticketmaster.com today:

PLAY WHERE THE PROS PLAY!

The Indiana Pacers are giving Pacers Fans the chance of a lifetime: to play a basketball game on the main floor of Conseco Fieldhouse! As a part of our Fantasy Friday 8 Hours of Basketball!

The Court of Dreams "Fantasy Friday" packages includes one hour of court time to play where the Pros play and 100 tickets for their group to watch the Pros play!

All registrants will be provided one of eight one hour slots scheduled between 4:00 p.m. -12:00 a.m. on Friday, April 10th to utilize the main basketball court for a scrimmage. Basketballs, locker rooms, scorekeepers, and a time clock will be provided.

Two ticket packages are available:

* The BLUE Package contains 50 ($10 Balcony) Pacers tickets and 50 ($10) Fever tickets.

* The GOLD Package contains 50 ($85 Krieg DeVault Club Level) Pacers tickets and 50 ($10) Fever tickets.

Choose from the Pacers games on April 11 vs. Detroit, April 13 vs. Cleveland or April 15 vs. Milwaukee.

Offer ends at 11:59 PM (EST) April 3. $1000 for the Blue, and I think it was $3000 for the Gold.

If they added Reb Porter, introductions, and music to be played throughout the scrimmage man that would be really exciting. Still really cool though.

Too expensive for me. It would be nice if they did individual packages.

This is a great idea to provide the fans with a great experience and to add some revenue flow.

I've actually played games on that court 3 times. Well, twice on the new one, once on the old one. Nothing official, but still fun.

If this doesn't have corporate outing written all over it I don't know what does. That's a good price for what could be a great company bonding thing, something a bit unique from the now traditional woodland adventures and cookouts that companies seem to do a lot of lately.

Throw in Dick Harter telling you that you are doing it all wrong and that's a blast.

4 teams of 6 is 3000/24=$125, you have 3 games, 16 minutes each with room for breathers. Playoffs, title. Or you could lame out and play halvsies so more losers, er, people could play.

If only we could get 24 PDers to do this.

I played in a tourney at MSA one time.

That was pretty cool. It was half-court with two games going at a time.

We were "one and done" but it was still a thrill to play there.

Talk to Shade, he's been wanting a pick-up game for some time now.

I'll throw down $125 to participate.

That is incredible. Wish I could afford it.

I would find a way to get $125 together. That's just too awesome a concept for me to pass on if it's anywhere within my financial reach.

I'd consider doing it.

I'd gladly chip in $125, but the $600 plane ticket from Montana's a bit prohibitive. Not to mention that my wife is scheduled to have a baby on April 9th...
