Nobody out with the flu or anything? Hope Hibbashaq returns tonight! Or at least, let the rooks see a lot of mins.

I am excited to see M Gasol, Rudy Gay, & Mayo play tonight. I think both teams will score over 100 points tonight easy. Conley had his best game as a rookie against us last year.

My official prediction is 35 wins.

Hmm, Memphis is on a 5-game skid. I really hope we can add to that.

It's good to see Ford back, and I'm looking forward to this game.

We have been playing .500 ball since the start of the year, and I think that will continue. Our record right now is 24-35, with 23 games to go. We need to win 12 to get to 36 wins, so I voted for 36-41.

OakMoses

I'll probably get slammed for this, but what the heck.

Looking over the matchups, I'd guess that Warrick is going to give us some problems tonight. When is he a free agent? I think he'd be a great PF fit on this team. Probably not as a starter, but he'd definitely have a role.

My official prediction is 35 wins.

That was mine, too. If that's how many they end up with, it will absolutely, positively prove, beyond the shadow of a doubt that the two of us are unbelievably, incredibly...

lucky.

Actually, I have no opinion one way or the other, except for one big problem:
the last time the Pacers had a "Warrick" (Brian from Villanova), Reb Porter spent the whole season calling him "WarWick." Drove me batty...obviously.

(So, how exactly do eyes touch someone physically?)

I don't know him well enough, and haven't seen him play for me to say whether he is good or not. I mean I could look at his numbers, but at this point I would say no until I saw him play.

While we're on the subject, is there anything we can do to get Quinn to stop calling Brandon Rush Brandon Roy? It gives me unreasonable expectations.

Let's just wait until after the Portland game....:shhh:

Though, when my son went to Billy Keller's camp at Christmas, Billy said he had to leave a few minutes early because he was going to work with Pacers Roy Hibbert, Josh McRoberts, Maceo Baston, and Brandon Bush. I thought he just screwed up his name, but maybe he is working with the wrong Brandon!!!!!

He did score 21 on us the last we played Memphis.

Oh, now I get it. Contrary to my often bloated self-opinion, I'm not very smart.

Hmmm, it's been my observation that only guys that think they are smart and really are smart are comfortable calling themselves not very smart.

It's usually the guys that think they are smart and aren't, that really don't know what they are talking about. However those guys never say they are not smart. So that has to mean you really are smart.

Also, 29 wins for this team. It's the Pacers, and we're bound to get more injuries.

agree..

If our coaching staff works with Roy this summer on correcting his body placement, and staying away from fouls... Hibbert could EASILY be a 16pt./10reb./ 3 Block Center ... He just can't stay out on the floor long enough to put up big numbers...

I feel ALOT of teams take full advantage of Roy's inexperience , and it makes it seem alot worse than it is with p*ssy calls by the refs..

If we make Hibbert a primary concern over the summer, he will have a good year next season..

Hibbert could EASILY be a 16pt./10reb./ 3 Block Center
Dude, nobody "easily" averages 16 and 10... and especially not 16/10/3.

I could see him averaging 16ppg, but not 10rpb. Rik only averages 7rpg or more once. And 3 blocks? That's VERY hard to do... I just don't think Roy has that in him.

Doesn't mean he won't be a great player for us. But you need to have more realistic expectations.

Hibbert does have the potential to be a great player, and if he really uses the summer to improve his game even more, he will be a heck of a player next year. I'd be more than thrilled IF he could be a 16/10/3 player, that's almost like a Dwight Howard.

Speaking of blocks, I loved Jeff's and Roy's blocks tonight!
