I think Yolanda is a solid veteran center with a very respectable resume.

I won't be excited again until we get a new coach.

I concur... Lin Dunn turned a pretty good roster last year into a steaming pile of doody!

It makes sense. For the most part we have the same roster as last year. I really hope something can be done. I really do like watching the Fever games. They make the summer a little less boring.

The only thing that will excite me is if they start winning. They won't do that unless they get a new coach. As far as I'm concerned Yolanda should coach. I don't see how she can be any worse than Lin.

I think Griffen (or "Yo" as she's now being called) is a very nice pickup. She'll anchor the middle and provide the post presence this team has lacked.

(Incidentally, I wish their male counterparts would improve their front court as well. :o)

I agree. Our coach sucks. I mean we have so much talent but she just doesn't do anything with it.

Yep - pretty much it.

She was a great pick up from Seattle.

She was talking to Chris and Quinn in the beginning of the 2nd quarter in tonight's game.

We got to meet her in the Fever locker room before the game, she seems very confident and expects to be aggressive and physical.

I about died laughing when she was describing her view of the upcoming season and said, "... and somebody on the team will dunk. I won't say who, but it's going to happen."
