http://www.pacersdigest.com/images/smilies/applaud.gifMOST IMPORTANT ONE: Always log out when you leave :) otherwise you end up with to many logins and you might need to "reset" you access.
This can be done automatically. but watch the cookiemonster in that case.

The remainder, there are/were some hickups with the posting, I ran an upgrade whiule the board was open because io forgot it earlier, that upgrade made it so the x's do not appear but now the http://www.pacersdigest.com/images/smilies/bs.gif appears http://www.pacersdigest.com/images/smilies/arrgh.gif

anyway; if there are questions don't hesitate to ask me or email me if there are problems (able@able-towers.com (mailto:able@able-towers.com))

and for now : http://www.pacersdigest.com/images/smilies/buddies.gif

Hey, umm, my post count is wrong. Could someone check out the "old" forum so that it is corrected? Thank you.

strange, mine is correct, perhaps the "fiddled" ones are now "real" ones D:

I had a certain # of posts at the "old, old" forum and then when we moved to the "old" forum, those #s were added in, so now I am without my "true #s." http://www.pacersdigest.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

Ok, well it looks nice and I see a lot of stuff that makes doing something with your profile much easier and worthwhile. I like that a lot over the "old" board.
I must say that I really have to get used to the new colours, I take it those will be changed later on?
Probably the same with those symbols before each thread or topic.
I think when you are quoting someone in the old board it was much easier to see the quote in your reply.
I'm receiving some occasional "run time" errors now, but that could be something wrong from my pc, offcourse. Also is it possible to get my old post count back?
I liked the list of all emoticons on the old board better,I just think the overview of them was better. It allowed me to get the emoticon I wanted to use MUCH faster than now is/will be the case, I rarely use the codes for emoticons anyway, if at all.
A final point. I would like it if there would be a line of:
"Pacers Digest >> NBA>> Pacers-line just above the "instant reply"-button on the bottom of the page, just like there is one at the top of the page.
As said I like the increased number of options, I just have to get a little used to the new board, its no big deal. Thanks btw for the enormous amount of time all of you guys are putting into this board Its really good.
Regards,
Mourning

Yes, the colors are screwy right now. The whine reds should be silver, and the 'db' logos should all be PD logos.

I love the way you listed that HUGE amount of links under the "Fundamentals" section and ... is that trade in "The Dribbler" going through???http://www.pacersdigest.com/images/smilies/eek.gifhttp://www.pacersdigest.com/images/smilies/wink.gifhttp://www.pacersdigest.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Mourning hit on some key things that would be nice.

"Pacers Digest >> NBA>> Pacers-line just above the "instant reply"-button on the bottom of the page, just like there is one at the top of the page. "

"I liked the list of all emoticons on the old board better,I just think the overview of them was better. It allowed me to get the emoticon I wanted to use MUCH faster than now is/will be the case, I rarely use the codes for emoticons anyway, if at all."

Also, I wonder if you can show how many people have viewed a certain thread.

Especially the first one.

But great job guys. Really reallly great.

I agree with both of those things. We'll see when it can be done.

One thing you guys need to all understand is this software was made by some people that are very good at what they do, and are constantly listening to requests for features and fixes, and they work on it right away.

So when you have a guy like able here to talk with them, and then take what they give him and know how to impliment it, I can tell you the chances are VERY good that all this stuff will be addressed sooner or later.

That is one reason why what you guys have done with this board is superb.

This new board seems very slow.

I also wonder if there is a feature you guys could turn on that flags or marks threads that you have posted in.

The slowness should improve, able implied it was slower now than it will be.

I don't know if this has been asked yet, but everytime I log back online, the threads that I haven't seen are still there as unread. Is there a way to change it so that once i sign off, those are automatically changed to read, like in the old forum?

Hicks

Not yet. Yet another thing I've told to able that I'd like as an option. I miss it too.

I believe able is working on fixing things, and that may temporarily cause more problems

Please bear with us. :)
