Correct me if I'm wrong, but no trades can be announced until after the 1st round. Although who everyone takes can give you an idea.

I'm not sure what to expect exactly, but I'll bet that if the Pacers move up, they will NOT get Luke Jackson. Just a feeling.

I tried to post it, but the board was down.

5:23 PM: DraftCity's Jonathan Givony, live in New York from the draft, is reporting that the Chicago/Indiana deal has hit a few snags. As of right now the deal has fallen through, but discussions continue to rage on between the teams.

Lebron is a pretty big guy and Luke is 6'7 or whatever too, I don't think they would have a problem being interchangable at SF/SG.

One thing we have to remember. If a pick is going to be included in a trade it can't be announced until after the pick is made. Hence if Indiana's #29 pick is going to be included in a trade it can't be announced until after the pick is made.

So those of you hoping for a trade . . . it may still happen.

Jameer Nelson to Orlando...

That is the report

9:23 PM: Rumor has it that Jameer Nelson was selected only to later be traded to Orlando. More on this deal as it develops.

9:15 PM: Orlando radio stations are speculating that the Magic may attempt to trade up in the draft to steal Jameer Nelson.

And who is reporting that?

RealGM

9:29 PM: The rumored trade is Jameer Nelson from Denver to Orlando for the future Washington first rounder they own. That pick is top 13 protected next year, top 3 protected in 2006, and unprotected in 2007.

It was a logical choice for Utah. If Pavel is not so good with English they have AK-47 to translate. Not such a hugh language barrier.
