View Full Version : Kudos from Kobe...The Pacers are Tough!

After the game, Kobe shook his head, smiled, and said the Pacers are one of the 2-3 toughest teams they've faced this year. They just keep coming at you. He wasn't sure if the first loss in Indy was a fluke, but after last night's game, he said the Pacer's are definately a tough team to handle.

Congrats Pacers! What a great game to watch. I loved the fight in Danny Granger when he got his 6th foul...his teammates had to restrain him. It was like watching a Rocky Movie, with two heavyweights standing toe to toe in the center of the ring, neither fighter backing up one inch and taking each other's best shots. If Dick Harter could just teach them to play better defense!!!

Or maybe if the Lakers weren't allowed to work the officials like they are...

This is really a nice gleam of light after last night's loss.

I really think the one play that made me yell at the TV was when Bryant ran over Dun and it should have been a charge. JOB almost got a T on that one. It is nothing but superstar treatment, but you know thats how the NBA goes

I don't really know what all of this means symobolically, but this is hillarious to me, even without explanation.

I doubt there is a link, but I also heard Kobe say this in his post-game interview. In fact, the announcers were giving Granger and the Pacers props throughout the game. It was nice to hear this team get some respect for a change.

Not to nitpick, but what's nice is winning games. I don't enjoy hearing "Well they don't win many games but they try hard."

That said, what I think people are really acknowledging is that this team, with Dunleavy, is far more dangerous than this team without him. Here's hoping that we stop just being hard to beat, and start being victorious.

I don't need or want Kobe's "appraisal".

How many moral victories do we need to make the playoffs? Can I see the standings for such wins?
