What are you guys in DC going to do? I'm going to hit the Club Love party on Friday night and probably some things on Ust during the weekend but I'm still definitely looking for things. There's going to be no less than eight people staying with me in my apartment so I'm sure we'll find stuff to do but I'd be interested to hear what you guys are up to.

Do you guys have any tips? Any recommendations?

Is anyone not in DC do anything special?

I'll be sleeping or work, haven't decided yet.

I will listen to my presidents speech. Other than that it's not a big deal for me.

I talked my family into NOT driving to DC for the festivities. I've got a brother in Reston and the thinking was to load up the minivan, load as may as we could, and road trip. Then try to get as deep into DC as we could for the festivities. Far as I'm concerned, it had bad idea and victim of crime written all over it.

So you have me to thank for 6 less idiots flooding your city adding to the congestion, etc.

rex, have you let those eight people know that this is the most expensive favor you'll ever do for them?

EDIT:

I work on Capitol Hill so I have the actual day off. Good thing, too, because I really wasn't looking forward to riding Metro that day.

I'll probably be around U St. though, that it is my old stomping ground and I live about 4 blocks away.

I almost freaked out when I opened my mail a minute ago and had an official invitation with seals and everything. I thought I was one of the chosen few who had won a flight out and a chance to be a special part of everything.

As I read over it all, it's just a general invitation. A very nice looking one, but just the invitation; no tickets or anything.

Nice to get, but man, I thought I had gotten a "golden ticket" in the mail.

Those eight are now up to nine, none of which are women that will be forever grateful to me, unfortunately. I hope they know how expensive this **** is, though, yeah.

Don't worry. That's just a fake Spider-Man born from a deal with the devil to magick away his marriage.

(Trust me; it's even stupider than it sounds.)

Because the DC government has no idea how to handle the inauguration and its sure to be chaos, I'm heading to NYC for the weekend.

Is that possible?

Is that possible?

Sadly, yes, it is.

I never thought anything would ruin Spider-Man as a character for me, but that did the trick.

Joe Quesada can go :censored: a :censored:.

I heard something about a free concert by the Boss. Otherwise, I'm working the entire weekend. 13 days straight - it must be against child labor laws.
