He came down the stretch making the last few shots for the Pacers, including the game-winner with less than a few seconds to go. Jack also scored 29 points.

Comments?

FYI: I plan on doing this mostly every game. I think as of late we have too many (I wouldn't say negative) but down threads on how much the team stinks and the coach should be fired. This will provide a "sunshiny" perspective on a somewhat cloudy season (so far).

If anyone wants to do a game, and pick a player, PM me and let me know.

Sacrilege! You're comparing a clutch playoff moment from one of the greatest clutch performers to a scrub getting lucky in a regular season game? :censored:

Like I've said since the beginning of the season, we need to re-sign Jack.

The Reggie photo has a marked "Oh Sh.." look on the faces of the fans that takes it to a whole 'nother level. In that game EVERYONE knew we wanted to get Reggie the ball and the Knicks tried to deny him. IIRC they did initially deny him but we got the rebound of whoever did get the shot and the Knicks left Reggie unaccounted for and we got a 2nd crack at it with Reggie wide open.

Exactly what Spike and the Garden fans didn't want to see....

Wasn't the Reggie shot one where we got the rebound and Mark Jackson got the ball at the top and Reggie's defender left him to double Jax, and Jax got it to Reggie? I thought that Reggie mentioned this scenario during his speech during the Reggie appreciation ceremony after his last regular season game...

He said something about telling Mark after the game that he couldn't believe they left HIM open to double Jax...He made the shot AND got to get a dig in on Jax after the game...He definitely got some chuckles from the crowd with that story. I know he told it, but he may not have been talking about that particular shot.

Back on topic, I think the idea of a thread devoted to a "game ball" for every game is a great idea, and I think Dukie is just the person to run with it, especially given that it was his idea! Great job Dukie! Once again, you prove yourself to be a very creative, very dedicated Pacer fan. It's good to have you around here!

Oh, and JJ definitely deserved it for that performance.

I agree. It would be large mistake to let him go. It is not easy to find big guards.
Plus I believe he is still developing and has not reached his potential.
Plus Ford getting injured is likely.
