I'm in town and going to the game on Tuesday. My buddy that I'm going with swears that we'll have no problem getting 4 lower level seats cheap by hitting up the scalpers before the game. Does anybody know the likelyhood of this happening?

About as likely as the sun coming up in the morning.

I suppose that's bad for the Pacers but good for me.

wow thats a good deal. Did you go before the game started? Or had the game already started before you got that deal?

A little around 5:20 PM. I only took out $60 from the ATM, and I went outside, he tried to haggle, but I stood firm on my price. He kind of backed off, and I said I'm going to talk to someone else, and he came back and just took what I offered.

That has happened twice in three weeks for me. Oh, I'm good.

So melly, to answer your question, yes, it is very likely.

These scalpers are something else.

I once went to a game, and there is a guy standing at the corner holding up
probably 8 or 9 tickets for sale. About 20 feet down the sidewalk from him
was another guy standing there holding a cardboard sign that read "I need
tickets".

I walked up to the guy with the sign and asked him if he wanted to buy
some tickets, and he said yes. I then pointed to the guy at the corner
and told him that guy right there has a whole handfull of them for sale.

He just gave me this crazy look as if I was retarded or something.

Some thanks for trying to help a guy out...sheesh!
