I am starting a thread for Indiana Highschool players that play for colleges outside of the state. Feel Free to Contribute

Dominic James (SR) Marquette
Did you see his block this week against Ten? I think the kid is worth a second pick in the draft.

Stu Douglas (FR) Michigan
Kid is a sharpshooter.

Jake Kelly (So) Iowa
6-6 Guard can score.

Robert Vaden (SR) UAB

Grayson Flittner (JR) Gardner-Webb
6-0 G who is one of the best shooters I've ever played against/with.
(I keep tabs on him. His team beat me in '04 in regionals. He has put up 21 on VaTech, 19 on Oklahoma, and 19 on South C.)

Then there is the obvious.......

Luke Zeller (redshirting FR)

Andrew Warren (JR.) Bradley

Graduated from Brebeuf the same year as me. Arguably one of the best players in the MO Valley. Injured right now, but was expected to compete for a spot on the all conference team.

Since 86, Saw Gardner Webb play last year in their big upset game. That kid is good.

Keenan Ellis and Armon Bassett are both down at UAB with Vaden. Of course, Ellis only played his freshamn year of high school in Indy before leaving for Cincy to team with OJ Mayo and Bill Walker.

JR Angle at Iowa
Angel Garcia at Memphis
Walter Offutt at Ohio State
Julius Mays at N.C. State

That's all I can think of off the top of my head...

Both of those players have left UAB, Ellis and Bassett.

JR Angle. Puke in my mouth. (if you know the story about him the night he broke the scoring record.)

Since 86 UAB only goes by U now because they have zero A'S & B's.

Bassett left already. He's gonna go somewhere in the Midwest.

Bassett is a total failure at life.

Yeah hes messed up recently but I hope he's alright but I hope he shapes up. He's a talented young man he just needs to get that head right.

I didn't want to make a new thread, so I thought I'd ask here.

Have you had the chance to watch Tyler Koch play, from Winchester, Jonathan? The kid is simply an amazing player. He's going to go to Wright State, and it's pretty much because they have an avaiation program and he wants to be a pilot. Tonight's his first game, due to a 5 game suspension from getting caught drinking. He put up 37pts last year in the 2A state finals game.

Had a chance to play against him this past summer. I've played against a lot of talent, and he's up there.

No, I will sure look for him. Read about him on Black & Blue Illustrated. I wish he switch over to Butler.

Well he rolled his ankle pretty badly last friday night in the second quarter. Don't know when he will be back.

Also, you can add Zack Novak to the list. A 6-5 Freshman Guard, lefty who has been playing very well for Michigan. He's 4th on the team in scoring at 7.1pts shooting 43% from 3pt.

Michigan also has another IN boy, Stu Douglas from Carmel.

Played summer league slowpitch softball with Grayson this past summer. Very cool down to earth person.

Anybody watch the Wake Forest vs Carolina game last night. Teague scored his career high and made several nice passes. I would love for the Pacers to draft him first round this year. He is the best guard at Wake Forest since Chris Paul.

That's defnitely a possibility. If Teague (and the Pacers) keeps it up he'll be one of the players right in the range where the pacers will be picking. I agree that it would be good of the Pacers could get him. Unfortunately I think they need a PF more than they need a PG and this coming draft has several PF's. Teague will undoubtedly get his shot at the NBA though.

Teague will give us a scoring guard. He can really penetrate the basketball. I think the Pacers need to upgrade at all positions. It will be interesting to see if/he can play defense at the pro level. JOB said that defense starts at the PG spot. Our defense has been lackluster this year. Teaugue is quick, he should be able to stay in front of his man and bigger the TJ that should help out our defense right there. We might be able to snag a PF in the second round Gibson from USC comes to mind.

Danny Moore- IU. I really root for this kid. He plays with such heart, nobody should knock him. Recruited for soccer by a lot schools but at only 5'9 no one wanted him for basketball & he is a walk on starting for the Hoosiers.

Josh Mayo -Sr (Univesity of Illinois Chicago) Do not know much about this kid but he was ranked best player in his conference. He is from Merriville and I was hoping somebody from the region could help me out with him.

I was wondering if any of you gentleman have seen this kid from New Albany play?
