View Full Version : Team Expectations...

What should be everyone's team expectations be for the year?
Do we go with our first round draft pick order?
3 Pleasant Valley
7 Mount Vesuvius
9 Funk Seoul
14 Technically Not Mine
is there any other way to gauge where you should have been and how well you have done in the draft/management?

Well, I think my biggest mistake (in hindsight) was drafting Wilcox in the sixth round, then Nazr soon after that - and now I don't have as many big men to boost my scores because I had to cut them both.
And I traded away my first rounder for Stuckey which I don't regret but leaves me without an opportunity to pick someone up to replace the aforementioned two.
I had a promising start (3-2) considering this is my first season playing this game, then proceeded to lose the next 9 of 10.
And isn't the draft order for next season based on record?

My team's been wildly erratic which I fully expect to continue.
Very young, which I like, but hitting the kiddie wall, which I don't. And Nelson & Howard being hurt hasn't been good for me either.
My team I like. I am young and hungry for the wins. I thought I would be better than my record but it is all good. I didnt expect too much.
Not having enough C or F minutes throughout the season has been killing me. I know I made some bonehead draft picks in hindsight but hey you gotta roll with the punches.
One Year I will win it all

erratic is the way to describe both of my teams. my non-keeper has amare, paul pierce, david west and jamal crawford... it seemed like a good idea at the time...
this one is a bit disappointing since my team skews older than most. andre miller, john salmons and chandler has been a mess. ben freaking wallace has been my most consistent center... yikes.

I guess I'm ok with my team. I like my guards, Johnson and Billups have been pretty consistent. Duhon has provided some solid games also, then I have Chalmers for the future. The problem is my forwards are so inconsistent. Marion and Artest haven't had their best years and are probably over the hill. Basically for the future I'm banking on Nick Young, Thompson and Ariza. And Rasho is my best center so there you go.
I'd be surprised if I made the playoffs this year.

My team is utterly dominant. And Caron Butler is my third oldest dude. I'm expecting a three-peat.
I made the mistake of choosing Gilbert Arenas with my first pick (for the second straight year), but I feel pretty good about 8-9 right now. What I don't feel great about is having to rely on Shaq for most of those wins.

I am relatively happy with my team, I started well have dropped a few games lately. I probably didn't draft big enough but got another C via a trade.
