Okay peoples, behind the pacers (or your hometeam, whoever it may be) which team do u like second?

For me, I'd have to say the Cavs.

If someone stuck a gun to my head and said pick a favorite second team, I would say the Spurs. Otherwise, I don't have one.

To be honest, living in the New England area I've been first and foremost a lifelong Celtics fan. But the Pacers easily became my "safety" team (New York rivalry in 90s, 2000 series with LA, Central division race with Detroit) especially with Larry Bird in the front office.

People root for other teams besides the Pacers? :o

Before this year, it was the Spurs and Pistons. That's all changed, and now I just root for the Spurs. I keep trying to root for Dallas, but it's so dang hard.

I also tend to root for ex-Pacers to do well, even when I want their team to lose.

I root ONLY for Indiana. I do appreciate SA.

I'm only a Pacers fan. I soured on the Spurs a bit this year, though I like Duncan.

I guess I don't really have a second favorite team.

I'm surprised at how many people have named the Spurs, I really never would have guessed that. How interesting.

Living near Cleveland the last 4 years, the Cavs have kind of grown on me. They're a distant second to the P's.

You should have seen them when Pop made those comments about Artest. :P

for me, prolly the TWolves

I lived in WI for many years right on the WI/MN border-- so they were the closest team.

I wish them the best in the west and i root for them thruout the west playoffs

but the P's > all! ;)

I follow the Nuggets & to a lesser degree Seattle & Utah

After that I tend to watch individual players. I really like Hinrich of the Bulls, Blake of the Wizards & Gadzuric of the Bucks.

I follow the Raptors a lot b/c of all the coverage they get here...but that is all. I don't like them - I can't like anyone else besides the Pacers. NO ONE.

I used to like the Sonics when they had Big Smooth, Kemp, etc. Now I am a one team person, but I'll pay close attention to the Bobcats...

I like the Heat, Dwyane Wade fan since he had the big game vs Kentucky, triple double. I love to see the underdogs win. I also like Odom, Alston, and Butler.

The Nuggets too. Melo fan here. Nene too and Earl Bokyins.

Pacers Only , There is no 2nd team for me. There are players I like for other teams but that's about as far as I go. :P

1. Indiana Pacers
2. Pacers
3. The Pacers
4. I. Pacers
5. Any team that Larry Brown coaches (I hate Allen Iverson as much as I like Larry Brown so that negated my liking of the 76ers although I respected everybody on there but Iverson)

No other NBA team. I used to say Utah but no longer care. I do like Amare Stoudemire and the Suns but wouldn't say i'm a "fan". I guess if pushed to the wall I'd say I gained a lot of respect for the Heat and but that's it.

and PEck's comment about Iverson...me too.

Never has been a second team - never. There are teams and players I respect. However, if I could make all the other teams go 0-82 I would :D

Not a fan of any other team.

I always enjoy Utah (especially in the playoffs at home).

I will follow the Bobcats from Day 1 (Only for bragging rights, be sure of that. I'd like to be able to say,"I was there from day one following the Bobcats blah blah blah.")

I used to like watching Dallas play, but I don't like the way they have gotten so many good players a la the Yankees.

I watch Sonics games as they usually play with heart and their games just tend to be interesting.

BTW, they should contract Toronto/Clippers.

On only root for the Pacers.

The game of NBA basketball is so bad and the officiating is so bad, I can't even tolerate to watch a game if the Pacers are not playing. If I were from another city that I didn't have a previous history with an NBA team, I, most likely, would not even watch NBA basketball.

None.

If the Pacers aren't playing, I'm likely to turn on a Knicks or Blazers game. Won't cheer for them, but those are the two non-Pacers teams - over the years - that I've been inclined to watch on the League Pass.

Although the primary reasons for each of those two teams were my appreciation of Patrick Ewing and Arvyddas Sabonis. So that theory is shot.

I can't stand the Mavs. What they play is not basketball to me.

I enjoy the Kings, Spurs, Pistons.

This past season if I wasn't watching a Pacers game, I tended to watch a lot of Cavs, Heat, Pistons games

The Mavs are like the harlem globetrotters to me.

Very fun to watch, but I would never want those players on MY team.

I think it says something when you can score 110 points at home and still lose to the HAWKS.......
