Hopefully we can get our starting 5 playing together in this one, to get themselves a little more familiar with one another. This could be our starting line up, possibly:

Ford
Dunleavy
Granger
Murphy
Rasho

Heres the audio link: http://www.channelsurfing.net/listen-nba-audio.php?w=hornets

I dont know if the game is going to be televised, but if someone has a link, please post :D

I concur, I'll probably listen to the game audio, and watch the NBAtv preview of the Pacers that comes on at 8

ya its probably gonna be a blow out

duke dynamite
10-21-2008, 08:21 PM
It could be a decent game if we could get them into some early foul trouble.

duke dynamite
10-21-2008, 08:23 PM
They dont want West to get another foul. 3 this early would be devistating for his game.

MillerTime
10-21-2008, 09:44 PM

Hibbert and Rush need more PT. But I guess the way Daniels is playing, you should keep Daniels on

Nice start to the 4th. Danny seems active tonight, which is a plus, Like the way Murph is rebounding... his shot should come.

Really wish we could get Dun Dun involved in the preseason a bit. Hope the knee isn't worse then we think

I think the announcers might be playing to us . . . they're crying that Hibbert may be hurt, ha. Close and exciting game.

Edit: "This Pacers team is gonna drive people crazy! . . . They're going to be fun to watch."
Wish I could watch, too!

MillerTime
10-21-2008, 10:19 PM
it looks like Granger is officially out of his "slump". Murphy is playing nice too. Im reallt excited to see Murphy play this season. He should fit nice with the Pacers new system, and now they finally have a real PG (not Flip and Diener), they should be much better

tinsley#11
10-21-2008, 10:20 PM
These announcers are pretty complimentary of the Pacers...this is the type of game I wish I was watching rather than listening.

What kind of player do you think he can be....I thought that might be a PD. Who did you compare him to? The Brooklyn guy didn't agree, but cool they read your question!

anyone else notice that the espn gamecast is sometimes faster than the audio? http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/gamecast?gameId=281021003

Naptown_Seth
10-21-2008, 10:27 PM
I heard that email.

Boy, this team might have some really serious low post defensive problems. I know it's early and everyone thought JO stunk or something, but damn. Are we going to see career nights for guys like Hilton, Chandler and West all season long?

I like Foster but he's not enough and it's looking like Rasho and Troy are just going to have huge problems. Hibbert's just too young at this point.

Quis
10-21-2008, 10:27 PM
This is it. 1-point game, one possession game. I'd like to see them bring Hibbert in and give it to him in the post. Guy's shooting like 65% in preseason, I'll take those chances....unless they go Hack-A-Roy.

El Pacero
10-21-2008, 10:29 PM
Brooklyn guy makes me want us to make a 3, shoot didn't work.

pwee31
10-21-2008, 10:30 PM
Glad it's just the preseason, b/c this loss would've made me really angry.

Still upset we lost, but it's a good showing, on the road against one of the top teams in the West, without Dunleavy playing a minute, and a chance to win... can't ask for much more

what was up with foster towards the end that has got to be the single worst quarter he's ever played like 4 fouls in the span of 3 minutes (estimating) and 2 or 3 turnovers? yeesh hope he got that out of his system couldn't see the game but at one point watching ESPN gamecast I literally said wtf jeff?

A lot of fouls tonight.

Granger with 7 assists - more than he gets in a week during the regular season.

And ouzome, and here I was thinking shucking was limited to corn.

kester99

We gave up 33 pts off 21 TOs. That's a killer right there.

LG33
10-21-2008, 10:46 PM
Fouls and turnovers make for a terrible performance. How did we ever (almost) overcome them?

kester99
10-21-2008, 10:50 PM
48 percent shooting and out rebounded them 48-35. Those were good things.

BlueNGold
10-21-2008, 10:58 PM
The fact is, if the Hornets were playing hard and we competed, we are doing quite well. They are a very, very talented squad that may be competing for a championship.

Major Cold
10-21-2008, 11:24 PM
I don't know about you guys but TOs were not a problem last year. In order to increase scoring we are going to increase TOs. But 21 is not acceptable. Good thing this is preseason. Out rebounding this team is impressive, but if we continue to send the opposing team we will win the rebounds.

They lost to Chicago, but Gerald Green had another good game with 19 points.

Rose scored 30 points for the Bulls! Rose makes Gordon expendable. The Bulls had best trade Gordon b4 the deadline or lose getting anything for him as he'll be a UFA next season.

Nearly 24 hours later, and I can't find any news on Hibbert's ankle. Anyone?

This is all I have seen:

"Pacers rookie center Roy Hibbert (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/4479/;_ylt=AiQbZ9d3._GzMt6xTvvcw_KQvLYF), who had seven points and three rebounds in 18 minutes, left the game in the fourth quarter with what team officials said was a mild sprain of his right ankle."

Maybe the team'll say something soon.
