Its catching some attention now on ESPN. I heard Colin Cowherd talking about it today and I think it was on Around the Horn and PTI too.

Thats ridiculous. He clearly tackled him, well shoulder checked him. That was a huge play too, down near the goal line. He really should be fired.

Yeah I heard he was an ex-LB so it was probably out of instinct. Either way, he should be fired irregardless. That is a HUGE mess up on his part.

On longer versions you can see him lining up for the hit. It was intentional.

Spurrier's wrapped pretty tight as it is - the official's lucky he didn't come out and deck him. Did SC score on that drive? They lost by a whole 7 pts. Guess the ref never heard the saying about them not determining the game.

That is ridiculous. Even the fattest, dumbest high school refs can stay out of the way. Should be fired immediately.
